"They were efficient in terms of the process. They sent the pad in a reasonable time frame. I did have to call a couple times. It took about a month to deliver. They sent the material which was packed nicely. There were 2 issues: 1-the glue or adhesive they used smelled badly. I had to put in my garage for a couple weeks until that 2-every corner was protruded, the table pad corners were too sharp on the mat .which poses risks with small children. I called about that and they said to put some tape over it. The manager called back to discuss the issue was. She suggested that I try to fix. it. The company might have done something to repair if I had followed up."

"I am a senior with a background in construction.  After reviewing many contractors and speaking with some of them, I immediately knew I hit the jackpot when I spoke to Danny.
 
1.  He knew exactly what I needed and wanted done when I first spoke to him.  This entailed the replacement, repair, and installation of the items listed above with attention to quality in materials, prevention of future problems, a fair price, and a commitment to starting and showing up once the job was initiated.  Danny exceeded every expectation in these regards!
2.  I silently knew in advance manufacturers, quality and cost of exterior doors (including the french door), storm doors, door locks and deadbolts, leak-proof door sills for 6 inch exterior walls and a leak-proof barrier on the bottom of the door frames.  Without knowing of my preferences, Danny suggested the identical manufacturers and materials I had in mind.  At this juncture, we met and I hired Danny to perform the work.
3.  I am beyond pleased with the outcome of Danny's effort on this project.  As an example of his integrity, he asked me to trust him in the design and installation of an exterior octagonal window in a bathroom.  My wife and I were literally blown away with a handcrafted symmetrical waterproof tunnel and inside wall frame he created - more akin to an artistic piece than a window.
4. Inside work was always minimally invasive using tarps and soft shoes rather than work boots.  Outside and inside cleanup at the end of each work day was respectfully performed leaving no mess.
I would recommend Danny to anyone requiring any kind of interior or exterior installation, modification, or repair as I have seen firsthand examples of his experience, skills, and personal and business ethics.  In fact, Danny is presently working on costs to replace our roof."

The first was ok but cold and impersonal. Stallings was the second call I made and instantly felt like we were more than just another "job". The first question we were asked was if we were all ok. From that moment to meeting both the lead estimator and the owner at our home, and meeting the ladies in the office, everyone was not only extremely professional, but compassionate and so knowledgeable. Every question we had they answered clearly and eased every concern. Our repairs were done so well it looked like a complete remodel instead of just a repair. The window replacements were done 3-4 years ago.  The windows are good quality.  The measurement of one window was not done properly and the installer did a fix by adding spray foam.  The deck was done 2 years ago.  The deck installers were fired as they made so many mistakes.  The deck install was suppose to be done in a week, it took 3 weeks.

I had a service tech com out to check a deck problem in May.  He is no longer working there and was laid off with almost all of the staff in Gaithersburg.  I called over a week ago for a service follow-up call.  The receptionist in Baltimore answered the phone, as there is no one in Gaithersburg and the phones are forwarded.  I am still waiting more than a week for a follow-up service phone call to be returned by the person who schedules service calls.   I have no idea how long it will take before someone can come to my home.  I am concerned that if I had a major problem, I would be waiting months to get a window repaired.

"The installation went very well.  The representative came to the house and discussed options and how to maximize use of the space.  The installers arrived as promised and did a very good job, including framing utility access panels very nicely. They were very professional and left the space in fine condition after their work was completed.  Overall, the system Garage Tek installed is wonderful and I'd highly recommend the company.  The installation looks great and has been very helpful in a house where there is limited storage. Several neighbors are considering similar installations.  The only disappointment is that we contacted the company immediately after the system was installed to see about ordering additional shelving and ask about possibly installing ceiling bracket hoists for two bicycles but never got a response.

"We had 6 chairs reupholstered and repaired. Some of the chairs were in really bad shape and 3 of the chairs were not even able to be sat in. Mr. Kim did a fantastic job putting the chairs back together and reupholstering them. Now I will have my dining room set for a very long time."

"Wonderful! Cornelio was great to work with. He and his team were very professional and I feel like I was given their time and attention. Cornelio was always very responsive and helpful in decisions that we had to make. We moved out for the renovation and were out of town for part of it and he often sent me pictures in the evenings so I could see the progress. We have lived in our home for 7.5 years so we had a good feeling for what we needed. We hired an architect and a designer separately and that was helpful as we went in prepared with what we wanted done. Cornelio and his team took out a wall and a half bathroom and removed most of the plaster (we live in a 1930's row house in Washington, DC). He also built us a new half bathroom and rebuilt walls and doors that needed to be done. When he took out the plaster and such he found old pipes and wires that needed replacing and took care of it. He didn't ask for more money it was included in the work. One thing that really impressed me is we decided to keep our old cabinets and have them painted (by a separate company). When his guys took them off the wall they were damaged (not because of the guys negligence, they had been cement glued to the walls instead of screwed into the walls as they should have been. Cornelio made sure they were repaired and installed in a much better and safer way and you can't tell at all! We love our new kitchen and half bathroom so much! It makes our house much more comfortable and usable for our family!"
