They asked about and worked around my schedule, were all prompt, courteous and friendly, and showed a true desire to complete the work to my satisfaction. Their explanations of the work to be done and the time it would take were clear and accurate. They started the work in less than a week after I signed the contract, and completed it in a week. This was well beyond my expectations since a lot needed to be done, including drywall repair and painting some hard to reach areas, shingle repair, gutter cleaning, and concrete step repair. Their cost estimate was competitive and fair. There were a couple hiccups along the way, including matching the interior paint color and trouble with installing a door handle, but everything worked out ok. I would certainly hire them again for any general home repairs/improvements."

"Power Home Remodeling was great from start to finish. Everyone involved was professional and made sure my siding and gutter project was completed to my satisfaction. Sean spent 5 hours going over what was available, helping us to pick out the siding and gutters we wanted, making sure they could deal with a couple of special issues concerning our house, taking preliminary pictures and measurements, and explaining the whole process. Tom came to verify the measurements and to make sure all the items involved would work and to discuss the actual procedures for taking down the old siding and gutters and for putting up the new siding and gutters. Charlie, Manny, and their crew arrived on time to install the siding and were extremely professional and helpful in dealing with a couple last minute changes to the installation. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I would highly recommend EA Roofing and Siding LLC to anyone contemplating a roofing project. Prior to contracting with TJ, the owner of EA, I had spoken with him on various other roofing jobs he was performing throughout our community. On each occasion he took the time to answer my roofing questions with a high degree of knowledge and professionalism. When TJ began work on the second of my two neighbors' homes, I made the decision to work with EA Roofing on my roof replacement project. TJ paid a visit to our home and walked us through the various steps of the project, reviewed various samples/types of roofing shingles and provided us with excellent pricing on the project. In addition, TJ provided references and locations of roofing projects he had completed in the local area in order to assist us in making our final shingle selection. This was key in our selection of the proper color roof shingle as it provided us a means to not only see the shingles on a specific roof but also what the color of the shingles look like at various times of the day. Lastly, all of our questions were answered to allay any fears we had about moving forward with this large project. Our roofing project was completed in a single day with 10 men working on the roof from 7:00 am until nearly 7:00 pm. in the evening. All of the area surrounding my home was covered with tarpaulin. One of the men on the team cleaned up on an ongoing basis throughout the day so that by the time the project was completed in the evening, all debris (old underlayment, shingles, nails, etc.)had been removed from the surrounding area leaving the house in exactly the same state as it was when the project began at 7:00 am. Any and all issues/concerns were immediately addressed by TJ and his team in a punctual and professional manner. We couldn't be more pleased with TJ, EA Roofing, and our new roof!"

"Quick summary: We could not be happier with the level of service, quality, and professionalism we received from Mackay. We have already recommended them to friends and would wholeheartedly encourage anyone who needs their roof repaired or replaced to retain Mackay. They exceeded all of our expectations.
The gory details: We recently moved into our new home in DC, knowing that the roof on our 1920's rowhouse had the original tin roof that had been poorly maintained. After a moderate rainstorm caused some minor leaking in our second floor ceiling, we realized we couldn't delay the roof project any longer. While we received a few different estimates, Bill Jr. was able to come out the very next morning and actually talked us out of a few of the more expensive fixes as being unnecessary, saving us about $2,500 in the process. Even before we hired him, he also took an extra 20 minutes out of his day and, expertly employing some duct tape and trash bags, MacGyver'ed part of the roof covering that had been missed by the emergency repairman we retained to cover the roof with a tarp. He explained everything clearly and helped us understand why a total roof replacement really was necessary and why a repair would be insufficient. 
If we had picked on convenience and price alone, it would have been an easy choice. They started work the next day which was an unbelievable turnaround from estimate to work, since  most other companies couldn't start work earlier than two weeks out. Their estimate was $1,500 cheaper than the next closest estimate. Not only that, but they included the cost of any roof wood/beam replacements in their estimate, while other roofers gave us conditional pricing estimates and most would not guarantee a total job cost. Not only that, but they finished the whole job--a total roof replacement, including gutters, mansard, some rotted wood (included in the price!), and two skylights--in a single day. The quality of work was top-notch, the new roof looks great, and we have had zero leaks or any other problems, even in crazy downpours.
They weren't just cheaper and faster. Bill Jr and Ben are great guys, they will give you their honest opinion, and they throw in a rocking Canadian accent for free. They did everything they promised and exceeded our expectations in every way. We recommend them unequivocally.
