"It went well. Dave was prompt and explained what happened. The basket strainer was completely rusted, so it needed to be replaced. Dave was very efficient. The kitchen faucet also had a small leak, so that needed to be replaced as well. Dave came back the next week to install the kitchen faucet as is was more cost efficient for me to purchase it and then have him install it."

"I had a faucet that broke and I could not turn off the water or get the main water valve turned. They helped me out in an emergency. I will contact them to get the faucet replaced ASAP."

"Everything from the moment we met Paula to the last installer leaving our house after installation went great!, they cleaned up after themselves, maintained professionalism, and made sure we were happy with the finished product. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family, as a matter of fact one of our neighbors noticed their logo on a truck in our driveway and asked about our experience with them and now they are using Just for Granite for their kitchen counters! We are completely satisfied with our decision to contact them, and would use them again in the future!

"His price was good. It is like half the prices of Bushes. I feel like the quality of his work was not was as Bushes but it was still okay. We are living in the house and so far we haven't had any problems. We did have one with the sink faucet which they came and fixed it.  I would probably not use them again."

"My mother-in-law contacted this company to fix a leaking gas line in her home. Plumber (Bryce) came out in a timely manner and checked on the status of their lines. After finding 11 leaks near fittings it was recommended to replace the old gas line. At this point, everything seemed good and then came the quote. This company wanted roughly $3800 to replace by their estimate; 50ft of line from the meter through a drop-down ceiling with easy access to two appliances. Making the job cost a whopping $75 afoot! At this point, I got involved as it was clear they were taking advantage of her given the time of year (New Years) and the cold temperature. Having worked in construction for many years, I asked Bryce why this relatively simple job was going to cost so much. After some back and forth he became defensive and hung up on me. I advised my mother-in-law to pay for the work they had done and never talk to this company again. She made an appointment with another more reputable company and they quoted her $980 ($20 an ft) to do the same work! Now tell me where the $2800+ difference comes in besides this company seeking to take advantage of women in a bad situation. It is practices like this that give this industry a bad name and I would be ashamed to be associated with this company in any way. Always get second opinions on work and watch out for companies like this they prey on peoples trust. UPDATE: Was contacted by the company manager, they apologized for what happened and stated that the above tech had been let go due to past transgressions of a similar nature. Additionally they waived the service fee she had been charged for that techs works. I appreciate the manager taking the time to try and make this right and reaching out to her. Updated rating based on these actions. "Carl was terrific - we had originally bought a special deal for 3 hours of service, but came up with 8 hours of work - he replaced and secured several shutters which had fallen off, and noticed several were loose, so he fixed those too.  He also secured a pedestal sink in the hall bathroom, fixed shorts in a light in the bathroom as well as in a coach light outside, reattached a downspout to the house and made a ceramic ring for the chimney flu in our attic so we could get additional insulation installed.  He was very knowledgeable and very service oriented.  He typically does more remodeling than handyman service, but does some handyman work in between other jobs.  He is really good!

"We met Chris and Caleb with an inch of water on the floor and a lot of frustration. They first got the 1yr old sump running again to drain the water down. Then the diagnosed the issue with the failed pump and replaced it quickly for approx $500. We discussed the backup system at the time but I honestly couldn't impulse that much and I wanted to review options. Waited 5 weeks and reviewed other options only to came back to the professional solution offered. Also realized the quote (under $2K) was actually very reasonable for the dual battery complete backup we had installed .. more of an investment than a bandage."

FAQs for faucets, fixtures and pipes repair or replace projects in Charlottesville, IN

You can absolutely install an outdoor mixture tap outside your home. An outdoor mixer tap blends hot and cold water before it leaves the spout, giving you a steady temperature for rinsing produce, washing hands, or spraying down patio furniture. As long as a plumber runs both hot and cold supply lines and insulates them against freezing, a mixer outside performs just like the one in your kitchen.

Outdoor faucet handles come in twist, lever, or knob varieties, all designed to stand up to the elements while giving you precise flow control. They’re built from tough materials yet offer the same comfort and ease of use as indoor faucets. Ask your plumber for a selection and for recommendations on the best option for your needs.

Start by pinpointing the leak—often it’s a worn washer, a loose packing nut, or a damaged gasket. If it’s salvageable, replace the faulty part; otherwise, you may need a new faucet. Always turn off the water before starting repairs, and test thoroughly when you’re done to confirm you’ve stopped the leak.

You can protect your outdoor faucets during the winter months by shutting off the water supply to the outdoor faucet before freezing weather arrives and by always disconnecting any attached hoses. You can further safeguard your outdoor faucets against ice by insulating the pipe and installing a basic faucet cover.

An outdoor faucet can last 20 years, though budget models may wear out in 10, and high-end ones can push 30 or more. Proper installation, routine upkeep, and careful use help you get the most life from any spigot. Ask your plumber for maintenance and care recommendations to get the most from your outdoor faucet.

Replacing an outdoor spigot yourself might work if you’re handy, but a professional plumber guarantees code compliance, reduces the risk of water damage, and offers peace of mind. If you’re not sure about soldering or local regulations, it’s best to hire a licensed plumber for a lasting fix that you can feel confident in.
