The other TV was a little more. I used the Angies list service because I wanted to support local business people. I was surprised to find out the Tech was an independent contractor provided by a California company. A month or so later I needed another TV mounted. In addition to Hellotech I looked into another internet company that begins with "A" that provides local contractors for home repairs. The other service was quite a bit cheaper ($118) and the repair work was comparable. If I can't avoid national internet companies I might as well go for the cheapest."

"Bob responded to my call immediately and came out to give me an estimate.  He was $100 under the other estimate I had.  He got back to me when he said he would with a written estimate and was honest about when he would be able to get to me as he was finishing up another large job.  He and his son work together and they scheduled the work exactly as they had predicted.  I added another job last minute and they had no problem incorporating that into their day.  They did three projects: removed old pull down attic stairs and replaced with new stairs (which they purchased and picked up), installed a new pull-down hatch and molding; installed a new kitchen light I had purchased to replace one that wasn't working well; installed a retractable outdoor laundry line.  This last item was more complicated than I had anticipated because it was designed to be pulled straight out, and I wanted it installed on the house and pulled out to the shed-- off at an angle.  Bob discussed the issues with me and came up with a great solution -- wedges of wood on both structures to give the laundry line the correct angle.  It works great.
