"We were satisfied with their work.  Owner was upfront regarding high cost associated with coolant added to AC (most of ours had leaked out of the AC).  Was also informed by owner or his tech exactly what the work on each unit entailed.  August 11th was 90 plus degrees and owner of SHC was here alone and worked steadily in the heat on the outdoors AC unit.  Was impressed when talking to him at his truck for a while as he came back for equipment/supplies during the job when he politely indicated that we could talk while he was working on the unit.  Should note that our AC unit hasn't worked properly or been inspected for 10 years likely due to a leak of coolant from the system.  Since we do not need AC often in northern Mich., we did without it.  Furnace is located in a damp crawl space and hadn't been used full time in 10 years because we use wood for heat--so both AC and furnace needed attention.  "

Temperatures had reached 90 degrees when the unit failed, with forecast of continued high heat . I called C and S, explained the problem, they responded the same day with a service call. The problem was diagnosed, they made repairs to the failed line and refilled the unit with coolant quickly and efficiently. The employees were courteous, professional and told us they would call back to check with us to make certain there were no further problems.
