"My husband and I live in Ann Arbor and hired Todd at All American Home Builders to complete and addition on our bungalow attic. He helped us get the permits from the city, was on time with starting our project, and was at our home almost everyday (weather permitting) working on our project with his partner Scott. We were happy that they focused on one project at time, so we were consistently seeing progress. Todd offered great suggestions throughout the process after being in the space and seeing our architect's drawings. Some that we took and some we didn't, but was always respectful on our decision and not pushy. We had a serious timeline with a baby due and he finished right on our due date! It was amazing to see it come together so effortlessly by them. The project came in right at the cost with no surprises. The only additional costs were items that we added. Along the way we were a bit indecisive and made a few changes which added work to the original scope, increased our budget and timeline, however Douglas immediately shifted into another gear and was able to incorporate our changes within the original design. "I contacted Renaissance Restorations for an addition. Jamie called immediately. The planning, blueprints, city permits went in high gear - then covid hit! When these unexpected things come up patients is and was needed. Finally, as things opened up the construction was in high gear again. More delays stalled things again, However everything is now completed, I am SO PLEASED! Jamie's finishers are top notch! The tilers were "masters of their craft" and the other finishers were precise as can be. The place looks beautiful!"

He told me this project would take less than 1 week, and it has dragged on for almost 2 months. "There were several pieces of lumber that needed to be cut out and replaced, which required strengthening the whole structure with wooden braces while the work was being performed. Gary had to think outside the box and consider different options to find the best solution. In the end, the approach he took was relatively quick for the situation and very safe. The result was a carport nicely restored, stronger than it has ever been. Throughout the process, Gary was responsive, efficient and very good at explaining his train of thought and his plans.
