"We called Rapid Home improvement about 3 months ago because two of our neighbors had recommended them highly. We didn't think we were going to get the work done this year because it was getting late in the year and there is usually snow, but this year the weather was really mild and it was actually 50+ degrees when they installed the roof.
We have a almost flat roof and it leaks all the time no matter how many times we pay people to fix it. Mike came out and measured and checked out our whole house. It was very thorough. After we talked to him he recommended this Durolast stuff that is like a pool liner, but better and is made totally in Michigan. Long story short, we had no idea this even existed and we really liked that it was made locally. We had a lot of wood replaced because it was rotten and the guys also installed a lot of insulation. We could tell right away that the insulation was working. I'll update this review later after we have a few months of utilities to compare.
Overall, we had a great experience. There were a couple of things that came up that we didn't anticipate, but Mike and the owner Bill handled them really quickly and professionally. It makes sense that this stuff comes up because we don't have an attic to check in and so we had no idea that we basically had no insulation in our roof at all. They gave us a really good price and we couldn't be happier. My husband and I would recommend them to anyone. Their price was good and they are honest. Just love it!

"Due to the cost of the job I quoted nine companies. During the quote I was surprised to have the owner and tech visit. Their price was on average lower than most. They had reasonable availability, Angies List max rated, and had was willing to work with me. I struggled with the color and type of siding for the work and they were not limited to specific vendors. Old metal siding was bent, faded, and loose. Old metal soffit needed removed, wood cut to allow airflow into attic and replaced in areas that were rotted. Old pieced gutters needed replacement due to being not one piece and poor water flow. JK came out on the coldest days of the season to complete the job. The only complaint they had was I did not have enough lights in the garage for their work. They cleaned up what they could find in the snow. I did have some cleanup after the snow melt, but not enough to complain. They fixed the garage and door metal surrounds after their inspection showed those needed to be completed as well. After a high wind day spring 2018 a shutter was blown off. They ordered a new window shutter and installed at a reasonable cost without issue. This prompted me to finish the review. The incident with their trailer and snow removal was an annoyance but the professional way they handled it was appreciated. With the snow fall and completing within the same quoted timeframe, they deserve as much praise as I can provide."
