It was an obvious problem with a simple solution. I explained to Marc what the situation was and he quoted an approximate cost.  When the tech came, he came up with a slightly higher number, but not enough to be concerned about.  He completed the job in a timely manner, was neat about enlarging the hole that I started in my wall and did not leave a mess on my garage floor.  The tech also gave me a rough estimate for some more work I want to do in the future.  Due diligence will be done, but all things being equal or close enough, I will hire MI Electric in the future. 

I gave a B grade for responsiveness because I had to follow up with Marc after not hearing from him when we agreed would be a good time.  Marc answered my call and got a tech to me in less than an hour and the job was completed approx. 24 hrs. after our first contact.  Great recovery!

"Jeff was very responsive and contacted me pretty quickly after the purchase to schedule. It was easy to schedule a mutually convenient date. It was raining the day he was scheduled to come at 9:00 and he called at 7:30 to let me know we needed to reschedule. He came the very next day, exactly on time. Jeff was very professional and personable and before going on the roof asked if there were any areas of concern. I had two areas of old leaks (one in each bathroom) and showed those to him - the very reason I purchased this deal. I also knew that the flat roof on my front porch was long overdue for replacement. I could hear Jeff using a hammer a few times, When he was done he explained that the roof overall was in "A" condition (I had a new roof installed 16 years ago) and he had repaired a few nail pops/lifted shingles and fastened the flashing around the skylight and applied sealant. He also advised that the two areas with old leaks came from vent pipes that needed new flanges. As expected, he recommended a new rubber roof for my flat porch roof (it was not replaced when the house roof was done and is about 48 years old). He gave me what I think is a fair price to replace the pipe flanges and also quoted me a price for a new rubber roof for the porch that I think is fair. We scheduled the work for the pipe flanges but I deferred on the porch roof for now due to other pending remodeling. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I plan to use Jeff in the near future when I am ready to replace the porch roof."

"Superb! They came and looked at the situation & called the next day with an estimate and set the appointment to do the work. They showed up exactly when they said they would, did the outlet work in the garage, installed the pendants over the eating bar in just the right position and height and installed a wall switch with a dimmer to make it even more pleasant. Also installed a chandelier in the breakfast room to match the pendants and finally installed an outside outlet in the exact location we wanted it. As my husband was a licensed electrician (in another state) he was very aware of how professional and competent this company was. We are both extremely pleased with their work and would not heistate to recommend them to anyone and will certainly call upon them again if the need arises.
