"I had a garage side door that was literally falling apart. The door didn't line up with the latch so it wouldn't close without a Herculean effort to lift it up. The casing around it would constantly fall off, bringing with it a cable for the backup battery for my Verizon FIOS network. The wood at the base was rotted, and the concrete was crumbling. I had lost the key to the deadbolt which I needed even to lock it from the inside. I never used it because it was such a pain. But when I had a major landscaping project done, I couldn't get my lawnmower through my fence gate and needed to use my garage side door. I decided to bite the bullet and hire somebody. I called All American Craftsmen and Contracting based on the reviews on Home Advisor. They responded right away, offering to come out and give me a free estimate. They gave me an appointment that met my schedule and evaluated every aspect of the job that needed to be done. I wanted a new door and casing and was expecting an estimate north of $1000.00. To my surprise, they gave me an estimate with a quality door, casing and all carpentry work including concrete base for less than that amount. I was super pleased. I was supposed to have the work done a week later, but the coronavirus restrictions pushed that back a few weeks. When the day arrived, their employee (Tommy) showed up right on time and got to work. I estimated he spent at least 12 hours over two days painstakingly working on my project. He made two different trips to Home Depot to get the right material. The only hiccup was that the replacing the rotted base was not in the original contract and added $75. I really didn't care -- the price was still below my threshold. He installed it, caulked it and painted it. I was extremely happy with the results! I cannot recommend this company enough. Bravo Zulu!"

"Ripwood Customs LLC (Brian & Josh) is exceptional. They brought back to life a 25-plus-year-old deck and porch. They demoed, cleaned, rebuilt the deck, rescreened the porch, and trimmed all to perfection. Their craftsmanship is superb with thoughtful additions such as safety rails along the deck steps. Their work ethic is very high and they have the right tools for the job at hand. I highly recommend this company to those who expect a quality project. You will not be dissapointed!"

"Jimmy communicates well and does top notch, high quality work. He stands behind his work and has been excellent in helping us maintain our 1911 home. He does beautiful custom carpentry and wood work. We have used him for several projects over the past few years, including a bath renovation and have been very pleased with the outcomes. "Our kitchen renovation project is now complete, and we could not be happier with the final results or Get It Done Contracting.  We have never done a renovation project before, and Dave made us so comfortable from the very start, suggesting ideas, patiently answering all of our questions, and letting us know up front during the estimate that he could not predict how complicated the wall demolition would be until he could see inside the wall and kitchen soffit that was being removed.  Both while we were still shopping around for a contractor and after we signed a contract with Get It Done, Melisa was always willing to take the time to answer our questions via email (in retrospect, I am a bit embarrassed at the number of emails I sent).   Our project involved a substantial amount of demo, carpentry, and finishing work that Dave performed himself, as well as a substantial amount of electrical work.  Dave was always happy to make small changes as the project progressed, and the final price based on ?change orders? to the original work scope was very reasonable.  The electrical subcontractor was also great, and the City inspector breezed through the inspection as he was very familiar with the electrician and knew what high quality work he performed.  After seeing our finished kitchen, and asking many questions of their own, our neighbors from across the street with a similar floor plan are considering a very similar project and they have contacted Get It Done for an estimate on their project.   The fact that we recommended Dave to our neighbors and they have called Dave after seeing his work is the best evidence of our level of satisfaction.

"The work went extremely well.  As the job progressed he offered suggestions on how to make the overall job better,  Mike suggested a change in the stairway railing construction which turned out amazing.  He also suggested the crows nest deck railing system be changed to a custom made wood painted system because of the uniqueness of the location.  We decided to add painting all the house trim and fascia after the work started.  Mike seamlessly took on this addon.  Based on the emailed pictures the house looks outstanding.  He takes pride in his workmanship.  Mike is also diligent on project cost control.  He got competitive bids on the "Tamrail" deck railing system and achieved significant cost savings.  Overall the project is on time and under budget.   We have subsequently asked Mike to do a couple more smaller maintenance and upgrade projects.  Mike says he doesn't necessarily do the job the easy way, but rather he does it the right way.   We highly recommend Mike...he was a pleasure to work with.

"We bought a deal on Angie's List that resulted in significant discount from what a normal quote would have been, so they get an A+ on price.  The Belletto staff was friendly over phone, but service-wise, they had to delay our concrete replacement by over a month.  First it was because they were backed up; then it was because their "concrete truck broke."  After finishing the concrete and letting it dry, they were supposed to finish the job by replacing our front porch pole so that it could support the weight of the roof.  That was scheduled for a date that was two months after they initially replaced the concrete...not sure why.  But interestingly, they happened to be in the neighborhood on random weekday in mid-December and offered to install the pole.  It was pure luck that we happened to be home that day because we both work full time jobs on weekdays...  We didn't anticipate them coming so we had to rush to Lowe's to buy the pole while they waited in front of our house.  I suppose it was nice of them to wait.



Overall, we are satisfied with their work.  However the scheduling issues were a little annoying to deal with because first they kept postponing initiation of the work, and then they unexpectedly showed up early to finish the last part.  Nonetheless, it wasn't too bad and we managed to get it done...  I give them an A simply because I saved several hundred dollars, which was worth some of the scheduling nuances.

"Jeff showed up on time and did his work professionally. He recommended replacing 4 vent covers due to splitting or rotting and gave me an estimate for that. He was gentlemanly and well-informed, didn't try to upsell things that weren't needed. I was aware of the deteriorating vent flanges because I had recently had my chimney cover replaced and the pro who did that notified me of their condition. I felt like Mighty Hands did what they were contracted to do in a way that made me confident of their work."

"I initially contacted Tommy through the Angie's List website, and he called me promptly to set up an appointment to visit my home and review the work I wanted done. He then followed up with an email giving me a quote for the work. Since I felt the quoted price was reasonable and he had such good reviews, we scheduled the work for the next week. I became ill later that week, and Tommy worked with me to reschedule. On the first work day, Tommy and his assistant, Lou, arrived as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and immediately began covering furniture with clean plastic, tenting kitchen cabinets, covering floors with drop cloths, and taping woodwork. Smaller items, such as dining room chairs, were even moved into the garage. Although I offered them lunch, both said that they preferred to work straight through the day. Since I still was not feeling well, I ended up going into a bedroom to lie down and ended up falling asleep. When I awoke at 5:30, they had left, but not before removing all plastic and drop cloths, replacing the furniture, and sweeping the floor. The second day went much as the first, except that I changed my mind about the color for one of the rooms, and Tommy made a special trip to the paint store to get the new paint. The bedroom, bathroom, and den were completed that day, the plaster in the garage was repaired, and Tommy installed the under-cabinet lighting (not normally one of their services but done as a special favor since I had no one else to do it). My house was left in perfect order when they finished, and they even borrowed my vacuum to make sure that the floors were left clean. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Always Painting by Tommy. Not only is the quality of their work outstanding, but I felt that their prices were fair. They were prompt and reliable and provided good follow through when minor issues arose. Both Tommy and Lou are gentlemen who conduct themselves professionally, take obvious pride in their work, and go out of their way to try to please the customer. I have already had them back for another smaller painting job and would not hesitate to recommend them to others who might need their services. In fact, a family member who is renovating a house will be calling them for a quotation when they are ready to paint this spring.

"We are writing to rave about Geoff's work. We had two projects; one was a small shower downstairs and one was a complete remodel upstairs. After seeing the shower Geoff rebuilt for us, we asked Geoff to work on the remodel. I must say in the small space to which Geoff had to work with, he did an amazing job. It went beyond our expections, in particular, the glass shower door. The tile work is beautiful so having the glass door really made it pop. As for our bigger project upstairs, the complete remodel, I think only photos can do it justice. We do want to add that Geoff was very patient with us and guided us with design ideas while being cautious not to push toward up selling. What was important to us is that Geoff addressed all our concerns; trying to minimize the impact to our house, constantly updating us, offering the 2nd job after the first job, and the high quality of his work.
