"EXCELLENT craftsmanship. Super high quality work. Very communicative - never ghosted us or left us in the dark. Five stars on all of that!! The only reason I don't give 5 stars overall is the timeline. We were originally quoted 8-10 weeks for our screened porch and it took a lot longer. There were things out of his control that contributed to that, so we understood. And again, he kept us in the loop. He also built us a new shed during that time and that slowed down the progress of the porch as well. We loved Calvin and would be happy to have him do more work for us."

"Justin and his team are extremely reliable, professional, courteous and meticulous. Justin takes a lot of pride in his work and has helped us on several occasions, some more complicated than others, but his troubleshooting skills and knowledge is reassuring that he can take on any task. Just has done everything for us from swapping light fixtures, painting, hanging artwork, fixing a plumbing leak and drywall repair. "Despite some project challenges including myself being remote and my inexperience with interior design, Jules (as I was asked to call her) held my hand through the entire process and made it completely painless! It was an obvious problem with a simple solution. I explained to Marc what the situation was and he quoted an approximate cost.  When the tech came, he came up with a slightly higher number, but not enough to be concerned about.  He completed the job in a timely manner, was neat about enlarging the hole that I started in my wall and did not leave a mess on my garage floor.  The tech also gave me a rough estimate for some more work I want to do in the future.  Due diligence will be done, but all things being equal or close enough, I will hire MI Electric in the future. 

I gave a B grade for responsiveness because I had to follow up with Marc after not hearing from him when we agreed would be a good time.  Marc answered my call and got a tech to me in less than an hour and the job was completed approx. 24 hrs. after our first contact.  Great recovery!

"They responded to an email this morning by 8:30 am and were here by 2:45. Technician pointed out we had a high quality unit and there was no need to replace. He put in new embers and some newer logs he had on truck and it came to life and looked great. Price was more than reasonable. I highly recommend this company."

"Jeff was very responsive and contacted me pretty quickly after the purchase to schedule. It was easy to schedule a mutually convenient date. It was raining the day he was scheduled to come at 9:00 and he called at 7:30 to let me know we needed to reschedule. He came the very next day, exactly on time. Jeff was very professional and personable and before going on the roof asked if there were any areas of concern. I had two areas of old leaks (one in each bathroom) and showed those to him - the very reason I purchased this deal. I also knew that the flat roof on my front porch was long overdue for replacement. I could hear Jeff using a hammer a few times, When he was done he explained that the roof overall was in "A" condition (I had a new roof installed 16 years ago) and he had repaired a few nail pops/lifted shingles and fastened the flashing around the skylight and applied sealant. He also advised that the two areas with old leaks came from vent pipes that needed new flanges. As expected, he recommended a new rubber roof for my flat porch roof (it was not replaced when the house roof was done and is about 48 years old). He gave me what I think is a fair price to replace the pipe flanges and also quoted me a price for a new rubber roof for the porch that I think is fair. We scheduled the work for the pipe flanges but I deferred on the porch roof for now due to other pending remodeling. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I plan to use Jeff in the near future when I am ready to replace the porch roof."

Once we chose our stone, we met with Donnie for fabrication. He gave us a tutorial on how to care for our new counters and helped us decide on the cut of the slabs to have the most beautiful island. Donnie also assured us that whenever we have questions in the future, he’ll be there for us. This is the type of customer service that I look for and will bring me back to Queen City Kitchens and I would highly recommend them to anyone working on a remodel."
