Although the overall job was good, I give the company a C for quality for several reasons; there are some electrical wires still hanging from the roof or laying on the lawn from the siding job, and after only 4 months my new driveway has a crack that needs to be addressed. I have had several encounters with both Brian and Mike regarding the jobs performed at my home, they have both been responsive, but my encounter with Mike today really demonstrated excellent customer service skills and professionalism. "Dave Hollenczer did the work start to finish, from assisting with architectural design to completion. His work is of the highest quality and he is finishing on time! It was a 5 month project from the date of demolition to move in. We moved out to another home because we were taking the 1st and 2nd floors down to studs, raising the roof and adding the master bedroom to the 2nd floor. The second floor was previously a half floor with a cathedral ceiling down to the 1st floor. The only floor that didn't need work was the basement which was already finished. He is knowledgeable and incredibly responsive and I recommend him highly. It was not an inexpensive renovation but the price was fair for the work that was done."

"Having lived in my house for 25 years, I knew exactly what I wanted. I had plans drawn up by an independent architect. Rick had a few <br /> good suggestions to add to the plans. We had 4 separate bids on our project. Rick's bid was not the most expensive nor the cheapest. I chose Rick because I felt that he really listened to me and that I could work with him the best. Things started on time but we had a bit of a delay due to weather and the framers he uses being behind on other projects. Once the framing was complete things moved much more timely. This was about a 6 month project all total. Rick's subs were all extremely good at what they do and were all very professional. He has a fantastic team from the foundation to the finishers. There were some days that were down days with no work going on but they were few. Sometimes we had to wait for inspections or at the end for the wood flooring to adapt to the humidity. Work was completed exactly to the contract, no hidden or extra costs without an addendum to the contract being written for a specific dollar amount and signed by both parties. Overall we are extremely pleased with our new space. People come in and are in awe of what we have had done. Jaws literally drop. There were a couple things that needed fixing after the house was completed and Rick immediately sent someone over to do the repairs. They were completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner. I have highly recommended Rick to friends and to potential clients that he has sent to review work he and his team have completed. I will use Freedom Works, Inc. in the future for any home improvements I need done and will continue to recommend Rick and his team. <br /> <br />"

"I phoned Walsh Home Improvements initially to get in contact with a structural engineer.  They recommended an excellent engineer who inspected the building and wrote a letter outlining necessary repairs.  Ken Walsh met with the engineer and then sent us a competitive price.  Ken was prompt and professional.  He was also available to meet with us over a holiday weekend.  He ordered the materials and did the work in a timely manner.  We will likely use his company in the future for other repairs/renovations. <br />"
