There was bulging insulation, an impossible array of exposed pipes, ducts, and wires, and a big open concrete floor with nothing. The design they came up with, following all the feature aspects we requested, was absolutely beautiful. "Allen Metcalf is an artist. He doesn’t just build something, he creates. This is the second project he has done for us and replaced a small deck outside our sunroom that as rotting. Allen pointed out that more than one piece of structural wood needed replacing. He also pointed out where the deck and addition weren’t properly anchored to the house. He submitted a 14 page estimate detailing everything he would be using and doing. "I hired Abode Construction to build a double wall in my basement for a music room. They were able to get started quickly, and I am very happy with the final product. They worked with my electrician as well. My only suggestion for improvement is regarding communicationâ there were a few times when the person who quoted the job, the foreman, and the company owner didnâ t communicate correctly amongst themselves, and it caused some mistakes and delays. However, everything was fixed the way we wanted it in the end and finished on schedule. The owner Scott is very friendly and accommodating. I would hire Abode again for a similar job."

They were so easy to communicate with and they worked around all of our weird requests (we wanted to do a lot of the finish work ourselves). John, the owner, came out personally multiple times to check on progress, answer any questions, and make sure we were completely happy. Luis, the head carpenter, was so fun to work with. He got everything done two weeks early while still feeling like part of the family.
