"I called Joe @Contractors Plus for an estimate on installing a walk in shower for my 95 yr old father. Joe came out the next day to give the estimate, and got busy on it right away. It was finished on schedule within 3 days. Joe gave us a very fair price and my father was pleased with the result. Joe went out of his way to make my dad happy. The shower looks great, and he installed a couple grab bars to assist my dad in and out of the shower. I will definitely call Joe at Kitchen & Bath Specialties Contractors Plus for other projects."

"We used AOM because of the positive ratings on Angies list. Those positive ratings are well deserved. David and his crew painted approximately 90% of the interior of our home. A couple of the rooms were real problem areas but they did an excellent job of "recovering" them. They looked like brand new rooms when they were done. Their overall work certainly met our needs and expectations. Communication with David was very good. If there was one minor drawback - it took a bit longer than expected. This was due to them having to juggle some of their personnel and probably our problem rooms took longer than planned. Net, net, not a major deal though. Definitely appreciated getting the Angies list and Senior discounts. They  worked hard, they were professional, they were honest, and most importantly, they follow up to make sure the job is done to our satisfaction. I highly recommend AOM and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

"This project consisted of front door and storm door install, including framing and molding. The finished product looks fantastic. We were most pleased by 1) honesty 2) attention to detail and 3) identification of project requirements ahead of time in order to meet or exceed our expectations. The work has been finished for less than 12 hours, and we have already recommended to a neighbor who noticed the activity in our front yard."

"Overall, it went well. The project took about 7 weeks. John, the contractor explained that he would provide me with an estimate of the material needed and I was to pay the supplier and he would arrange for the delivery of the material. In this case Home Depot priced the  material and I paid Home Depot and received a detailed receipt. This system worked just fine for me. Deliveries were on time. JMJ Builders staff was always on time (Most of the time they were parked before 8am and came to the door at 8am.) They were personable and very polite. An important point is that John would virtually every evening after work would inform me  of the progress, any problems and the plan for the next days. I did not have a detailed blueprint, but described what I wanted and he would communicate with me to ensure we were still on track. The job was completed by Nov 12 except for a few minor details which he returned to complete by Dec 1.I would not hesitate to refer John to potential customers. I certainly plan to call him next year I may need to do some additional work on the first floor. By the way not only was the staff prompt but they seemed to always be working. John was not at the project every day all day, but he did come by and spent time virtually every day.

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"Scott and his team are wonderful. After recently being scammed by a contractor that we hired to remodel my parent's home, I had to quickly find someone who is honest and reliable. I called Illinois Remodeling Consultants and explained our situation to Scott and he was quick to help us. He immediately went over to the property and gave us his honest observations. Because my parents were taken advantage of, he made sure that they did not have the same experience. His prices are completely fair and he even helped us with that. He took care of everything. We are so grateful to have Scott on our side. He is the best project manager and makes sure that everything is done. We are having the bathroom and floors remodeled and the back door fixed. "They are a nice provider. I talked to them on the phone for about 30 minutes and they sent some samples. We were able to get a discount on designer purchases but not useful on designing the space. Once we told them what we wanted, they were able to help purchase from the warehouse and save about $1,500. I think they became too busy with this big deal. You buy a ticket per room and we still actually have a couple left with this provider. After redesigning one room, we kind of ran out of steam and have not designed the other rooms. Overall this is a good service and it's a good concept. Whomever I spoke with, she was really nice. I would recommend this provider. This kind of service seems to be for people with time and knows exactly what they want. They are super helpful with the designer discount from the warehouse. They don't actual design your room which is slight flaw."
