"The entire process went smoothly. The reservation went quickly, once we paid an extra $200 to reduce the pickup window to 3 days. The pickup and drop off process also went well. The car was returned in the same condition we left it. We would recommend using United Freight."

"Cordoba went above and beyond completing our drywall job. The job ended up requiring moving some plumbing. He was able to call in a plumber right away to not delay the completion of the job. We plan on using his services again in the future!"

"The owner and his associate came within the promised time window. I scheduled them on only a few days notice, so I was glad they were able to come when they did. They took their shoes off when they entered, which was nice. I had them remove two heavy speakers and disassemble a nearly 9 foot long, 6 feet tall wall unit, move it to my new residence and reassemble it. It is not an Ikea piece, so I was sure they would be unfamiliar with it. To make things easier, I labelled the 30 or so individual pieces and demonstrated how the pieces go together. I removed the doors to the piece myself, because they required loosening adjustment screws and fiddling with the same screws on reassembly - very time consuming if you have not done it before. The two men bundled several pieces together and wrapped them in a Saran like material so they couldn't move. They blanketed larger pieces in their truck. The trip to the new residence was 3 miles. They were able to assemble pretty quickly because I had all the pieces labelled. One shelf was installed backwards, which I didn't notice until after they left. It was easily reinstalled by me and not a big deal. When they first arrived, I asked if they brought a rubber mallet. I was surprised that they had not, and I brought my rubber mallet to help with reassembly. They were not as careful as I have been when taking the unit apart and putting it back together, but no one ever is. I would definitely hire the company again. I would recommend overseeing the work so you can make suggestions on how to approach the task when needed."

"<p>The firm's president, Randy Alverson, arrived promptly, assessed our damp basement situation, and explained in great detail the various steps of the waterproofing process.  He answered all of my questions and was so professional and reassuring that I broke my usual rule of getting at least 3 proposals for any home project, and decided to hire Chamberlin-Washington immediately.  Of course, I had done my homework and read the firm's excellent reviews on numerous websites including Angle's List, which added to my confidence in my choice.  </p> <p>The Chamberlin-Washington crew was terrific and worked so hard under very chilly and damp conditions. They first removed all of the plants/shrubs from our front borders, carefully wrapping the roots in order to preserve them.   An 8 + -foot trench then had to be dug along the front of our house, to the bottom of the foundation, in order to begin the waterproofing process.  They worked very carefully, addressing one half of the foundation at a time (including under our front porch, which was undisturbed). The crew realized that our home's exterior foundation was very rough and uneven, which meant that it wouldn't be a receptive surface for the waterproofing membrane.  Mr. Alverson came back to our house to explain the additional steps that were needed to smooth the foundation out before the waterproof membrane could be applied: grind down the rough foundation, install stainless steel wall ties, install wood forms and pour a 4" thick concrete layer to even up and consolidate the foundation.  He made sure that we understood what was going to happen, and explained that though this was an unusual step to have to take, they had done it before for with some older homes such as ours (built circa 1925).  This extra step of preparation added an additional 50% to the original fee, but it had to be done. Once the waterproofing layer was finally in place, they tested it by spraying water onto the foundation for an hour, with one person carefully monitoring the process inside our basement to make sure that no water was leaking through.</p> <p>Ultimately, Chamberlin-Washington was able to thoroughly waterproof the front foundation of our home, and we have had no further water problems whatsoever.  We were extremely impressed with Mr. Alverson and his crew -- very professional, punctual and thorough.  I highly recommend this firm to anyone whose home needs similar waterproofing work.  I should also add that Chamberlin-Washington honored the 10% discount for Angie's List members -- a nice touch.</p> <br />"

"The handyman, Gregory, arrived on time and started work right away. He set up a clothesline in my back yard, removed an air conditioner from an upstairs window and moved a piece of furniture. I asked him to remove some weather stripping from an outside door (I had been advised that this would help the door lock more securely) but Gregory said that this would let in too much cold air in the winter. So I went with his opinion."

"They have done a wonderful. They leveled everything so the windows fit correctly. They cleaned up after themselves. There is nothing that would indicate they had been here other than their good work."

"CS Construction did an outstanding job on my project. Samir Mammadov, the owner, is a true professional. He provided an accurate estimate on my kitchen remodel and laundry room tile floor installation. The kitchen was remodeled from top to bottom and came out beautifully, as did the laundry room floor. Sam is very personable and provided an accurate estimate at our first meeting and did a fine job guiding me through the whole project. He met with me at the wholesaler to pick out the kitchen cabinets and counter top. Sam and his crew were personable, on time, and did excellent detailed work. Sam really knows his craft in all aspects of the job. I am very pleased and recommend CS Construction very highly."

"After reading reviews, DR Handy Services was my first choice. Del responded quickly to a Friday email request for service, scheduled for the following Tuesday. Had a few minor jobs: install a battery security doorbell, light bulbs in two locations that needed a ladder to reach (I can no longer reach comfortably), and repair 2 non-working light sockets (1 outside, 1 inside). JC and Wily were outstanding, very friendly, and professional. The cost was very reasonable. Will definitely call DR Handy Services for my next repairs. Thank you!!"
