"Painters arrived exactly on time and accomplished all tasks the same day. The manually stripped the deck and applied two coats of stain. They carefully cleaned and then painted the foundation concrete as it had got dirty over the years. They also scraped, caulked and painted a large bump-out window off our living room.

"Anthony Barrera is the owner of Toony-Touch, and he sets the tone for the people who work for the company.  You will find them courteous, very careful in handling your possessions, and honest.  You won't find anything missing when Tony-Touch's crew leaves your house  The company's customer service is excellent it caters to its customer's needs.  If you are like me, sometimes you think you want things done one way, and Anthony is very diplomatic about helping a customer to understand why the work should be approached differently.  I have never undertaken a renovation project before so we had several miscommunications about the work.   Once I explained to Anthony, that I needed to understand what might be involved in a project before it is done, he has helped me understand the things I needed to know to make good decisions.
The work is planned at the customer's convenience.  Don't want crews in the house on Saturday, or any day before 8? Tony Torch will accommodate you. Oh, did I say the paint job and is especially gorgeous and the tile on the floor and the walls of my master bedroom bath rocks?  I'll say it again.  They did it to the paint job to the designer's every specification, and Anthony designed the exquisite pattern of the wall tiles in the bath.
 Typically, the crew comes in with their equipment at the appointed time, if they are painting they move everything except the most fragile of items for you.  I had my closets painted, and that saved me time.  I could have saved more time, but like I said, I have undertaken this type of project and I wasted time packing or removing things that they were prepared to do.  Anthony, visited the house on a regular basis to inspect his crew's work."

"They sub-contracted out, the price change ($299.99 to $430.00) from the big deal because they had to pay Rodriguez Home Improvement LLC. They came out and pressure wash the house and to make the guy go back over his work. Still it was a lot of dirty areas left. Afterwards, I took a cloth and wiped away the dirt. I did this to see if it was baked on from the sun. It was just a lousy job from the sub sub contractors."

"We previously used Ruxton for our bathroom remodel a few years ago and they did a wonderful job. We recently called them back to help us with improving our kitchen. We weren't sure if we wanted a complete remodel or just a refresh. Frank came in and gave us some great ideas and made it worth going with a complete remodel and design. He spent a few days doing the design and we met with him at his new showroom. As in the past, he did not disappoint. His design and ideas for our kitchen were great! My kitchen looks amazing! The work was completed on time and at the budget we were aiming for. The workers were on time and very polite. "The drywall repair was excellent. I could not ask for more, or better. The patches that needed fixing were extremely large, and you cannot tell that anything was done. If all you need is drywall repair, stop reading now, and hire Kargman's. Our main thoughts were that they did a great job, eventually. They had to come out and fix things twice and that shows great customer service and responsiveness. We just would prefer not having multiple trips. The carpentry ended up being excellent as well, and it was an admittedly tough job getting baseboards attached to brick, and trim along the walls where drywall met the brick. The main issue we had was that there were some sloppy places at first that needed Kargman's to come back out and fix. They were great in doing this, and bent over backwards to come out and do it again, but it would have been better not to have to have anyone come back out. The real issue we had was with the painting. Eventually, it all looks great and the final product is perfect. It's just that they had to come back out and clean up painted over faceplates, trim, and a door. They did eventually get it pretty much right, but it took a while. So again, everything turned out great and looks great, but it's not above average or done on the first try, so we couldn't give an A."

"I contacted Mark to get an estimate on replacing some stones that had fallen off the front of our porch. It has been a problem for several years. The previous owners were supposed to fix it prior to settlement, but they stuck the loose stones back up with caulk (big mess). We left it a few years because we dreaded the cost to fix it. After more stones had fallen off, it was time to get it repaired.
They came out during the day and Mark emailed me an estimate. I was satisfied with the estimate and they came out on Friday, February 22 to take off the loose stones. When I got home from work, the stucco layer had gone up (previously there was not an under layer like this), and the loose stones had been removed. He was honest and said he wasn't sure if they could remove all of the caulk, but whoever came on Friday was able to do that. Mark came out on Monday to put the stones back up. There had been some spots where there were no stones previously due to settling of the house. He brought extra stones along to fill in the gaps. It looks amazing and we could not be happier with the whole process. I am definitely recommending him to any of my other neighbors who have the same problems.
