"Jake and his team trimmed bushes, did a spring clean up around the yard and put down mulch. Jake is very good at communicating with the customer as far as next steps and progress. They did a great job and I look forward to working with Fine Touch Services in the future."

"They replaced sections of our sidewalk and driveway apron. They were prompt and the work looks great. Pricing was fair. They only complaint is they promised to level out the dirt displaced when removing and leveling the sidewalk and did not. They were also a bit sloppy and got globs of concrete on the asphalt driveway that was left to dry."

"Great. Upon trimming the bushes, a rock went through a sunroom glass door, which required replacement by Blair windows and reapplication of the solar film by Distinctive Glass (Bryan Shoush). Matt Harden immediately took care of scheduling the repairs and promptly paying the vendors without any haggling/hassling. Peggy, the owner, has been a real professional to deal with. They will not be mowing after this season, so we'll need that service supplied by another vendor."

"Eisele's did a great and thorough job of grinding up a stump from a large tree I had cut down. Did a great job of cleanup too. Very reasonable price."

"The work was performed by a recommended septic system repair company; as well, a septic pumping company. Everything was fixed and the yard looks great now.

"Earthwood Arts came out and removed leaves, trimmed bushes and small trees, seeded some bare areas on the lawn.  The general cleanup left the property looking great.
We've been working with Earthwood Arts for about two years; their crew seems to understand our preferences and our property very well.  It's a pleasure to work with these folks - they could not be more professional or accommodating.
The place has never looked better.  A realtor acquaintance told me that this kind of ongoing upkeep will ad a great deal to the value of the house if we ever decide to sell."

"We removed the wood paneling in the basement shortly after moving in.  That's when we noticed 13 cracks in the foundation.  None of them structural issues.  They came in and repaired all of them in one day.  A couple of them were difficult to get to due to stairs and piping, but they did a great job on all of them.

"I called to see if septic could be pumped soon as I had experienced a blockage and while it was again flowing, I knew it had not been pumped in 10+ years.  Cold weather had just hit with predictions of snow.  We tentatively scheduled for between 11 & 2:00 the next day (weather permitting).   Next morning I missed their initial call at 10:30 and was afraid they would not show, but at just a little after 11:00 they were here!  Hooked up in just a minute  (I have easy access and knew where the lid was). The sludge was thicker than it should have been, but their pump was able to handle it and we were finished in 15 minutes or so (normally an 8 minute pump per Knox).  We had agreed on a price of $195 beforehand on the phone (1st 1000), but I was afraid it would be higher due to thickness.  We talked about the system, etc., past experiences with the septic.  As an invoice was written I asked how much to make payment for and was told it would be $185 with the Angie's list discount.  It was very cold out and I asked the guy to come in out of the cold, but he politely refused saying he was dirty.  I knew about the Angie's list discount but did NOT mention it to them, though in conversing outside I did mention joining so as to get reviews.  To their credit, they gave me the discount.  Not much, but appreciated, none the less.  Sometimes you just can't beat an honest  'mom & pop' business.

I trust Mike to do all of our future masonry work in the future.  We are currently (4/11/2014) putting together plans for a front wrought iron automated gate with concrete pillars and widening the entry to our driveway.  I won't use anybody else.  His prices were fair and he really is a nice guy after getting to know him on the projects he has finished on our dream house.  Thanks Mike!!!
