"We met with Blue Best late in 2024 to discuss our concern with air temps in our living room and kitchen, which have high ceilings & southern exposure and are hot in summer. We were very clear about our concern, and the salesperson spent hours assessing our home and assured us his proposed system would solve the problem. We accepted the ~$14,000 bid to install a heat pump solution based on that assurance. By summer 2025, the living room and kitchen were still too hot on most sunny days. Despite many service visits the issue was never resolved. Blue Best ultimately stated the system was operating as designed and implied the problem was with our home, not their installation.  In our opinion, Blue Best is only good at selling a solution. Blue Best has declined to remove the system or refund our payment, instead relying on fine print in the contract.  We are now pursuing legal options. We have since spent ~$12,000 on a mini-split system from another contractor, which works as intended."

They also relocated my current water softener to its proper spot (the last company had installed it wrong), set up my Aquasana filtration system with UV light and installed new valves under my sinks. "The technician arrived in the first 30 minutes of the 3-hour window. He checked the AC unit, which is on the roof of a 3-floor condo unit, and also checked the inside AC unit. He diagnosed the problem of a dirty indoor evaporator coil. He cleaned it on the spot, which took 90 mins. He didn't charge me for the diagnosis time, and the whole job cost $202.50. (I had an estimate from another contractor of $425.) The technician brought and wore booties in my condo to keep the floor clean. He also brought a small vacuum and vacummed and cleaned the area after he was done. He was professional, courteous and seemed to know what he was talking about when I asked him questions about the AC. I have worked with several other AC contractors, but have never had an experience like this with someone who was on time, professional, efficient and offered as good of value for the money. I will definitely be using Affordable Heating & Cooling again."
