"We hired Sam's Hardwood Floors to refinish the hardwood floors and install quarter-round molding in our living room, dining room and entryway/main hallway. The wood flooring in these areas had been hidden under some retro shag carpeting when we bought our home, and they appeared worn, dull and out-dated. Sam's business had some great reviews and all of his work exceeded our expectations. Our initial estimate was prompt and painless and we found his rates to be VERY reasonable. Sam was courteous, informative and responsive throughout the process. "Had LHI Painting Fox our basement after a blown water heater destroyed most of it while we were on vacation. I contacted LHI to do remediation work on the basement after it’s gotten flooded. They dispatched a Bagster bag dumpster and quickly demoed all of the compromised molded drywall and insulation. They then replaced 3 rotten studs, replaced drywall, sanded everything without making a lot of dust and painted the basement in its entirety including the floor. Their lines were crisp and they worked clean. I recommend them. They are good painters."

"When we bought our house in 2015 we had another hardwood contractor refinish our floors in our 85 year old house. That contractor did a very poor job. I was hesitant at hiring another contractor, but given the rating Chris had achieved on Angie’s List I decided to give him a chance. Chris quickly responded to my request and visited our house. His knowledge and honesty impressed me and his pricing was good. Chris was very professional and displayed with great work ethic, arriving every day as planned, keeping dust and debris under control and cleaned up each day. He did an outstanding job installing new solid oak (not from China) flooring in our living room, dining room, three bedrooms, and office and hallways, fixing all the squeaks along the way. He also installed vinyl tile flooring in our kitchen, which included new subflooring. Chris removed our existing old flooring/subfloor and had it removed. We definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to have new floors installed."
