Their sales associate (Al Lien) was knowledgeable and helpful, but no pressure, which I personally appreciate very much. They had a range of options, and in the end we chose to use HardiPlank which was less expensive than LP at the time of our project. The Hoffman Weber price was very competitive (and significantly lower than the high-pressure company that came out). The installation went well--the crew was hard working and pleasant, and communication with the project manager (Pete) was easy (the installation was done in February, so, weather affected the days of installation). "The fence Hal built around my property in South Minneapolis is absolutely beautiful.  For the price listed, he removed my old, rusted chain link fence and installed a custom, hand-built fence around the entire back yard. Unlike other fence builders with whom I met, Hal makes the fence himself, piece-by-piece, and puts everything together on location. 
Construction took a few weeks due to a thoroughly disappointing situation with the neighbors as well as very frequent rain, but Hal always returned my phone calls and kept me updated.  He also responded professionally and kindly to a last-minute change in design.  I simply love spending time in my new backyard!  I couldn?t be happier with the work Hal has done on my property."

"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"He did a bid for us, we didn't go with him because it just wasn't complete he didn't have a guy to do the glass doors and he didn't have a guy to do the cabinetry. Fine, nice guy. It was a little slow I had to bother him about getting a bid."
