"After purchasing an Angie's List Deal, I received the measuring kit in the mail promptly. The template and instructions provided to draw my split table top and each of the leaves were easy to use and understand. I mailed the completed materials and received the table pads very quickly. The table splits in the middle to allow insertion of up to 3 additional leaves. The table also has 2 drop leaves. That's 7 pads. All fit perfectly. I have used them on the table for family parties (not every day) and they're durable and built to last. I keep them in the box they arrived in to protect them when not in use. These are a worthwhile investment."

"MELTED Home Services repaired my sliding door, and changed some light bulbs I didn’t want to climb for. They were kind, friendly (my dog loved them) and efficient. Also very reasonable charges for their service. I highly recommend them and am sure I will call them again."

"They did an amazing job! I needed my whole house repainted, they came in gave me a bid, and after I hired them, they were done 3 days earlier than expected. I have another house that needs done and will absolutely be hiring this crew again for the work!"

Small jobs welcome

"I've had several projects done by JET-X. Most recently, him and his creq cleaned out the second story of my dad's barber shop after he passed away. Jessye sorted it out, found what was worth saving, and disposed of the rest. Very quick and efficient, and I would recommend him to anybody needing help. Before that, he redid a large exterior deck for me. He's done several projects over the last 10 months. and I actively refer him when necessary."

"Heritage painting , aka Ron Walker was the BEST!! Called within an hour from posting came to our home the next day(on a Sunday) to give us an estimate. He is a wonderful Gentleman who made us feel very comfortable and someone we could trust to do the job. His estimate was way below others we received. He started the job that Tuesday removing our old tile and cleaned up after. His tile work was great. We had quarterround on edge of old tile but he cut and installed our new tile without needing to put new around. I would highly recommend him to all. Not only do I have a great contractor in the future but also a great friend. Thank you Ron!!!"

FAQs for interior trim and decorative moldings repair projects in Columbia, MO

While the terms 'trim' and 'molding' are often used interchangeably, they serve different purposes in home design. Trim refers to materials installed at the junctions of walls, ceilings, and floors, providing a seamless and functional transition. Molding, on the other hand, is a decorative type of trim crafted specifically to enhance your interior's visual appeal. For personalized recommendations that match your home's style, consult a professional contractor.

Repairing or replacing trim throughout your entire home takes six hours. If you're focusing on just a single room or a small section, you can expect the project to take one to two hours to complete. The process includes removing the old trim, carefully measuring and cutting new pieces, and precisely installing them to achieve a polished and lasting result.

Selecting the right trim is key to enhancing your home's overall design. Common options include shoe molding, quarter-round, baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and picture rails. The best choice depends on where you're installing it, your personal style preferences, and your budget. Consulting a knowledgeable contractor can help you find the perfect trim to elevate your interior's appearance.
