"I have worked with a number of the stone suppliers in Central Ohio so I had a level of expectation for this type of work. From my initial contact with Konkus, I was amazed and blown away by the treatment I received and the quality of customer satisfaction I received! My first call was to a representative who deals with commercial accounts. She referred me to Brandi Croak. Brandi sensed my urgency and I went to their facility the same afternoon. We looked at a number of pieces and selected a product which we agreed would work. An appointment to measure the workspace was scheduled. A contractor here dropped the ball on the installation of the final cabinet so when the technician arrived to take the laser measurements, he worked around my contractors. Once a price was agreed upon, the scheduling coordinator went to work. I needed everything accomplished yesterday, Heidi worked her magic and the work commenced. The installers arrived five minutes early and each went to his task immediately. Stone in a home is a welcome and important finish. The job can be a big struggle if you select the wrong vendor. "We are pleased to highly recommend The Baker Group Remodeling for home renovations. Phil Baker recently finished a complete renovation of our master bathroom. His high-quality work included removing a wall and gutting everything from the flooring, lighting, shower, tub, cabinets and doors. Despite the size, scope and occasional need to rethink design elements they completed the work as efficiently as possible and on schedule. Phil provided experienced advice and service. The cabinetry he built is solid, high quality work. When installing the new floor they took the time to lay it out in a cohesive pattern that flows with the room. "<p>Our first contact with Granite Direct was at the 2016 Spring Home & Builders Show.  We left them a rough sketch with measurements and within a couple of days we received a quote.  Carolyn sent us the names and addresses of their granite suppliers and we went and put together a short list of selections.  This was all new to us as we've never had granite counters installed.</p> <p>We received a second quote from a different company which was a little less than the Granite Direct quote.  But they were very slow to respond so we felt that Granite Direct would give us better customer service.  A lower quote doesn't do much for you if the customer service is sub-par.</p> <p>The measurement and installation went great.  The techs were prompt and professional.  There is one thing I would do different,  and this is totally on me and nothing to do with Granite Direct.  We bought a single hole faucet and also wanted to install the soap dispenser so that would require cutting two holes.  We've never had either of these before.  When the tech was in taking the measurements he asked me how far apart I wanted the soap dispenser from the faucet.  Instead of grabbing my faucet and getting a good idea of what it would look like installed I told him that 6 inches should be enough.  Everything was installed just fine but we probably should have had an 8 inch separation.</p> <p>The other thing we learned is that granite in Columbus moves fast.  A slab that you see one day will be gone two days later and then you might be starting over in the selection process.</p> <p>Granite Direct was great to work with.  Carolyn is very friendly with a positive attitude.  We would definitely use them again.<br /> <br /></p> <br />"

"The entire process was painless and enjoyable.  Ben came out on a Saturday (I work two jobs so my hours during the workweek are ridiculous) to measure and provide an initial estimate.  I then went to The Granite Guy (where they knew my name when I walked through the door although they did not know when I was coming) and picked out the stone.  About a week later, an individual from there came out and drafted the templates.  Ben and his crew came the following Friday and installed the counters and sink.  They were all polite, personable, and knowledgeable.  Quite frankly, I enjoyed having them in my house--and as a single female nearing retirement age whose home repair/renovation knowledge is only dwarfed by my skills in those areas--I have sucker written all over my face.  I am on guard when dealing with service providers.  Ben quickly put me at ease.  In short, I would have him back in a heartbeat and have already recommended him to a friend who is about to redo her kitchen. <br /> I am a teacher--and I never "give" grades; they are earned.  BSC earned an A+ in all areas. <br />"

"Originally, they sealed the flashing that was installed by the roofer. I still had two leaks that they found later doing a water test. They concluded that the only way to stop it completely was to re-flash the entire chimney and reseal the entire thing. Since then we had had some very bad storms. The inside of our house and fireplace is now completely dry! Their workers are not only very knowledgeable but also very conscientious and through. I would recommend these folks to anyone needing stone/masonry repair work of any kind."

"We purchased an Angie's List special for $1499 for a custom granite countertop including materials and labor. We first contacted the company for information and talked to Hannah Deliere, sales executive, about the service. She was very helpful and I provided her a rough drawing of the counter top surface and some kitchen pictures. We visited Mont Granite in Hillard to look at a variety of granite slabs on display. The special offer was for 9 types of granite selections and any other stones were considered an upgrade. We made several trips to the granite location before deciding on a granite stone upgrade called Giallo Fiorito. We took a cabinet door to help us match over 200 slabs on display. After we made our decision and provided the down payment, a technican visited our home and verified the measurements. The installers showed up on time and  removed the sink, plumbing connections and old countertop. The new granite surface was installed including a cut out for the sink and a back splash. The sink was replaced  and attached  caulking was done on the backsplash area. We were responsible for re-connecting the water supply lines, pipes, disposal etc. The entire installation took about 4 hours and the installers did a great job on the clean up. We were very impressed with the work done by the installers, Tyler and Tim. Special thanks to Hannah for keeping us informed on the progress of the job and answering our phone calls and e-mails. The entire process took about three weeks from ordering through installation. The granite countertop has transformed our kitchen and we are very satisfied with the job. We highly recommend this company for your granite work. <br /> <br />"
