"The first day, the damage was discovered after cleaning the grout and removing some tiles. After removing most of the main tiles, Josh tried cleaning them, but my caulking with silicone made them unusable. My bad. So he bought some inexpensive tiles that matched our color and added a pretty granite pencil design to tie it in with our room color. Wow! On the fourth day, after cleaning everything up to a shine, I almost cried at the beautiful job they did. My husband rarely compliments people on their fine work, but he had to tell Josh what an excellent job he and his crew did. If we ever need to tile the floor and replace the shower frame, we will call on Josh Jax of Advantage Tile and Grout Services. They were prompt, explained each step, and were enthusiastic in their efforts to create an elegant shower at reasonable cost. I hope we can find other home contractors as terrific as they have been."

"Jeremy Kooser is literally the best of the best I learned about him from a friend of mine is a hospital administrator in Fort Collins. Colorado informed me that Jeremy is one of the only contractors that they hire because his work is flawless. after meeting Jeramy and seeing the level of professionalism and quality that he puts into every single one of his jobs, I hired him. He completely redid my bathroom with tile my backsplash in my kitchen and my patio to this day. It’s flawless all the lines are straight all the seems have not cracked and I literally did not think it was possible because my concrete was literally wavy. I didn’t think he could do it but not only did he do it but he exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Jeremy Kooser style tile if you’re in the area"

"Chad was absolutely amazing!! There were a ton of hiccups due to the LVP supplier (the LVP install date got pushed back multiple times and was about a month later than expected) and Chad was very gracious and flexible with it all. When he first quoted me for removing the tile and installing LVP he said he'd be able to reduce the cost if the tile came up pretty easy. He actually did just that! He also gave great recommendations and paid a ton of attention to detail. He helped with extra trim work, removed the caulking leftover from the baseboards being higher when there was tile, and went way beyond what was "contracted". The LVP flooring looks amazing by the way! I chose a cheaper Coretec, and he still made it look like a million dollars! Everything was kept very tidy through the process and he even hauled away an old cabinet for us as well. I'm very grateful to have found him here, I more than recommend!!"

FAQs for tile, stone, marble clean, grout, polish and maintain service projects in Commerce City, CO

Sealing grout delivers excellent value by creating a moisture barrier that prevents water penetration, staining, and deterioration. Unsealed grout becomes a magnet for dirt and moisture, which can lead to discoloration, mold growth, and eventual breakdown of the grout structure. Regular sealing maintenance creates a protective barrier that not only preserves your tile's appearance but also simplifies routine cleaning and extends the overall lifespan of your installation.

When combining professional grout cleaning with sealing services, expect to pay between $3 and $4 per square foot for challenging surfaces like natural stone or heavily soiled areas. This comprehensive approach ensures your grout is thoroughly cleaned before sealer application, maximizing the effectiveness and longevity of the treatment. The cleaning process removes embedded dirt and contaminants that might otherwise become sealed into the grout, providing superior long-term results.

Certain grout formulations, particularly epoxy-based products, come with built-in moisture resistance that eliminates the need for additional sealing. These specialized grouts naturally repel water and resist staining without supplemental treatment.

Additionally, if your existing grout still demonstrates good water-beading properties from previous sealing, immediate reapplication may be unnecessary. Professional contractors evaluate your specific grout type, condition, and location before making recommendations about sealing requirements.

An average DIY grout sealing project for a 160-square-foot area requires about three hours, though this timeline can extend significantly for first-time applicators or challenging spaces. Professional contractors can complete the same area in two to five hours, depending on project complexity and required preparation. The experience gap often shows in application consistency and efficiency, with professionals delivering more uniform coverage in less time than most homeowners can achieve, especially on initial attempts.
