"My experience with Carl Zatsick has been nothing but positive. Communication is key with any project, and not every project goes smooth. Overall the process was very smooth from initial walk though and estimate to the final building inspection. We had some minor bumps but Carl's kept me in the process and relayed over any issues or concerns. Carl and his son were professional while on site, and kept the area clean after each day. In the end we got the deck we wanted and couldn't be happier. Before getting estimates, I pre-filtered the companies I wanted to deal with, based off of reviews and craftsmanship. When getting estimates for this project, Carl supplied me a with materials vs labor cost so i knew exactly where my money was going. I didn't get that with other estimates from the other companies, just a total cost. His estimate also came in a little lower than most of the other estimates, not by much, but enough to swing my decision."

"My basement had years of water damage. The cinder block walls were ugly and the orange stained cement floor was a mess. Following a permanent water drainage system I put in place last year, I hired Life Construction & Design to work some magic. And, that they did. They knew exactly what to do in my situation, they coordinated the team of workers, and the quality of the work was superb. It's a remarkable transformation. I also had a sump pump issue post-project completion that caused some water to get under my new floating vinyl floor, and although it wasn't their issue, the team came out and helped me troubleshoot the issue. "Slow but the outcome was fantastic. We gave Kevin an idea of what we were looking for as far as look, layout, functionality, etc. He came up with initial sketches which were pretty close to what we had in mind. We made some minor modifications to the plan, and then got started. We had to do quite a bit of site work with utilities and excavation, which resulted in multiple delays (most of which were out of Kevin's control). The workmanship on the garage is very good. Kevin consulted with us on every detail of the project - layout of the driveway, stone on the exterior, roof & paint colors, lighting options - and gave his opinion on what would work and not work. Kevin's stone mason is amazing! The garage came out looking exactly like I pictured. I would work with Kevin again on any home project. <br />"

Chris and Debbie and the entire staff are super easy to work with and up front with what is involved and what to expect. They have also done recessed lighting, laminate floors, and repositioned kitchen cabinets. They even cut hole through our brick to install a new window where there was not one.
