"We originally ordered carpet from a big box store. We did not realize the carpet was backordered, so we had been waiting for 6 weeks (and they could not give us a new estimate on when it might be in). I reached out to Randee to see if she could help us. She asked us to send over what type of carpet we had picked out prior to see if she could get a close match. Randee called the next day that she found some carpets that might interest us and we set up an appointment. Randee came on time and had the carpet panel to pick from. Once I told her which one we wanted, she called the warehouse to see if it was in stock. Luckily It was in stock, but we wanted to delay it for 2 weeks as we were finishing the remodel of our master bath. So we set a date and on that date the carpet installer showed up with the new carpet. He was very polite and installed it beautifully. It was such an easy process. I learned my lesson in using big box stores, so from now on I will go directly to Carolina Flooring and Carpet for all my flooring needs."

"This is the second time and second home we have used Freedom Renovations for hardwood flooring installation. This time, it was for new hardwood flooring installation throughout our entire home, upstairs and downstairs. Maria and Chris and their team were fantastic to work with. We had severe water damage from a flood and had them remove the old Brazilian cherry hardwoods which we decided to replace with modern 5” white oak. The end result is beautiful and they have been back several times to make things absolutely perfect as we had some other renovations happening in on tantrum and had to fill in some spots after the initial installation due to moving walls and removing structural columns. In the current state of the world where good help is extremely hard to find and contractors are less than professional and rushing to get to the next job, Maria and Chris have continued to provide excellent service and are committed to making their customers happy! We highly recommend and will definitely work with them again in the future!"

"Excellent experience from selecting materials through entire installation process. -Very knowledgable, helped us understand comparisons of different materials. We ended up choosing engineered hardwood. Carlo was great. -Thomas and the demolition and installation crew were just excellent. Significant demo to remove old hardwoods and replace entire subfloor, they did a great job. Installation was great, down to cleaning the floor in great detail and very attentive placing of furniture after the job was complete. -Wallace and the stairway replacement/stain match were also great. Reviewed samples of different stain match options, and again the execution was excellent. The stairs look so good we are likely to not put in the runner we had planned. -They also did a great job working with our schedule as we were involved in other internal renovations. We had to make a shift in timing, they were able to accomodate this and fit in our schedule perfectly. I would recommend anyone considering a floor project to contact Carlo and his team. "I recently had flooring installed in my home. There were some positive aspects of the experience. The flooring itself looks good and was installed correctly throughout the majority of the space. The contractor was professional during the installation, showed up on time, and completed the job within a reasonable timeframe. However, there were some significant concerns. I was originally given a written invoice with an agreed-upon price. After the job was completed, I was told the total would be approximately $500 more than what was originally quoted. After I brought forward the original invoice, I was not required to pay the additional amount, but this was stressful and concerning. Additionally, the job was not fully completed. A full piece of wood was left off around my center island. The contractor stated he would return to fix it, but he never responded to my follow-up requests and the issue remains unresolved. "

The only things that kept me from giving a 5 star rating are (1) the types of installation was never discussed with me (and I didn’t know at the time there was more than one option, so be sure to ask about this) and (2) after doing about 2/3 of the flooring I noticed that the installers laid the hardwood planks on top of the vinyl instead of pulling the vinyl up (not sure if this is normal)."
