"The second time I have used Pacific Stone and Tile in lass than a year and my experience this time was just as fantastic as the first time. very reasonable price and the final product looks better than we had visioned. Sal came out and explained all issues and keep me in the loop with updates as our quartz was backordered. The crew was meticulous with their measurements, making sure no gaps were showing due to sloping floors or crooked walls. They were very thorough with the install. You can tell immediately the pride Sal and his crew take in their work. The installers were as friendly as the owner, they kept the area clean and and were very considerate of me and my family. I plan on using Pacific Stone and Tile every time I need countertops."

"Chris was wonderful to work with for our bathroom remodel. My husband and I don't have a lot of remodeling projects under our belt and Chris was always patient and helpful as he guided us through a lot of decisions. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. Our house is old, and we know nothing is square or straight. We chose Chris because we needed a tile installer who could handle that and he did - it looks fabulous! Chris stayed on budget, arrived every day in a mask, and cleaned up every day before he left. We would highly recommend Chris for your tile work in any remodel."

"Andrea was very particular about her work - getting the right grout color and type. It took several emails and visits to the house to determine this but she put the same amount of care into the reqrouting which resulted in a good but time consuming job. I paid extra to have her clean mildew from old grout which, unlike me, she was able to do. Her need for perfection, however, put pressure on me to do more than I planned at additional charge.150"

"Anh's crew was working as a subcontractor on our kitchen remodeling project, so we did not negotiate price or schedule with him directly. They did start one day later than scheduled, but the delay had minimal impact. Once on site, they got right to work. Our house is over 100 years old, with floors that have some pretty impressive slopes; in one place, the floor drops over an inch within a 6 foot span. They did some shimming to mitigate this a bit. They laid the new oak flooring and did a very good job; even with the wavy subfloor, the boards are very tight. They took four days to install, sand and finish/refinish floors in four rooms. They sanded between coats of urethane. At the end of the job, the floors looked beautiful. Upon close inspection, we did discover a few small blemishes, places where the polyurethane bubbles did not burst. Anh himself came over to the house and did the touch up, as well as patching some gaps where the new baseboards did not cover as much as the old baseboards did. This did take some weeks to schedule, he is very busy. Anh is a very friendly, cordial guy. He told us how to care for our new floors and explained everything he did. We are very pleased with his work."

FAQs for tile, stone, marble clean, grout, polish and maintain service projects in Concord, NH

Use a stiff-bristle brush and warm, soapy water to loosen surface grime. Then, let the grout dry and finish with a grout-specific sealant. This combo cleans without scratching the tile and locks out new stains. Always follow the label directions so the cleaner and sealant bond properly. A few extra minutes of care keep grout bright and help your floors look fresher longer.

The most effective cleaner for badly stained grout is a professional-grade steam machine. High-pressure, high-heat vapor lifts embedded dirt without harsh chemicals and brightens grout lines in one pass. Pros often pre-treat tough spots with a mild solution and finish with a soft brush to protect the tile. The result is a deep, even clean that lasts longer than store-bought products.

Tile and grout are water-resistant, not waterproof. Dense materials like porcelain or glass shed moisture well, but even sealed natural stone and standard cement grout can absorb water over time. That’s why routine sealing and prompt spill cleanup matter.

Keeping moisture out prevents erosion, mold, and discoloration—especially in bathrooms, kitchens, and other splash-prone areas.

Schedule professional tile and grout cleaning every six to 12 months, with quick touch-ups in between. Busy kitchens and bathrooms often need attention on the shorter end of that range because constant moisture speeds up staining.

Sticking to this routine keeps grime from setting, reduces mold risk, and stretches the life of your tile and grout, saving you from bigger repairs later.

When done correctly, tile and grout cleaning is perfectly safe for your floors. Pros match cleaners and brushes to your tile type, control pressure, and avoid harsh chemicals that can etch or erode surfaces.

If you’re DIYing, test new products in an inconspicuous spot and follow label directions. The right technique removes buildup while protecting both the tile glaze and the grout lines.

Yes—apply a fresh sealer once the grout is completely dry, usually 24 hours after cleaning. The sealer forms a moisture-resistant barrier that blocks stains, mold, and everyday dirt, making future scrubbing easier. Skipping this step leaves porous grout exposed, which can lead to discoloration or cracks and, ultimately, expensive repairs. A quick reseal now protects both the grout and the surrounding tile.
