April, in the office, initially allowed me to provide pictures and measurements in order to guide the determination of the appropriate size, thus eliminating the delay of waiting for someone to come out to measure. It was quickly determined that the size was a standard one and the panes were ordered that same day. The installers came out within the same week to install. They were professional and courteous ... and did an excellent job. They even cleaned the doors (both the two panes they repaired and the two they didn't) so that the entire glass wall looks absolutely clear."

He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. "We have nice windows and sliding door but the trim on a few windows and the sliding door on the outside is pulling away from the unit. It is May 2023 and no one can get here until Sept 23, 2023 to repair it under the warranty. Meanwhile, bees and water are getting in under the trim and we will have to pay someone to come and fix this. Not happy!"

"We are extremely happy with our vinyl siding project with Universal Windows Direct. We read many positive reviews that were influential in our choice, and they did not disappoint. We were having some trouble finalizing what color to go with, and Heather the office manager provided helpful assistance in the form of pictures, addresses we could drive by, and even had samples sent over so we could see them on our house. The installation crew impressed us – they worked some long days in high heat, were very polite and respectful of our house, and were surprisingly quiet. They took care of all the minor rot that was discovered in removing the old siding and boards, and for an area with extensive rotting quickly provided an estimate for additional required repair and executed it in one day. One thing that sets folks apart is how they handle issues. We needed to change to different size shutters after the initial order, and also with the new siding there were some unanticipated dimension changes due to how the house was constructed and the new layer of insulation below the siding; Universal helped us work through options and accommodated the changes we settled on seamlessly. We also discovered a few issues after the installation was complete, and everything was corrected without any dispute and to our full satisfaction. I give Universal Widows Direct 5 stars out of 5, and they will be first on my list to call when it comes time to do my roof."
