Water was pouring out of it, to provide a more accurate description. Sean from A1 came to the house. He investigated the leaking pipe further and discovered not only serious plumbing issues (multiple pipes connected to the same main drainage pipe) but also an abandoned oil tank was hidden behind the drywall; the consequences of neglect and thriftiness from the previous owners. The plumber only brought 5 fittings, but he gave me the option to run to Home Depot to get more... I was also instructed to replace a hose which wasn?t leaking until after the repair, but it was easily fixed when I suggested to connect the new hose to the pipe rather than to the leaking hose. Sharkbite valves were installed. If I knew they were going to be used, I would have done the work myself.
