"Had plumbing issues for over a month and our landlord was slow to get started on the fix. Called these people, told our situation, called the landlord, had them set up an appointment - and in minutes a date was set (was doable within the week - unlike most jobs we've come across). They came first thing in the morning on the given date (VERY punctual), dug up the spot of the problems within just a few minutes... and they couldn't fix it, since the problem was caused by an AT&T fiberwire literally cutting THROUGH our sewer pipe! They left to get some supplies and CAME RIGHT BACK (too many maintenance folks say they'll get supplies at the store and don't come back UNTIL NEXT WEEK) to place up caution tape and clean up their mess. It's too bad that they couldn't fix our pipe (since it's AT&T's wire they'd have to go through now), but their service was exceptional. Definitely recommend! [PS: The prince listed on Project Cost would've been the price we had to pay if they were able to fix]"

"<p>I called them to repair a leak under my kitchen sink. A previous owner had kind of rigged things together and the 50 year old pipes were in poor shape. The estimate was $530 to redo all the plumbing under the sink. If I also wanted to replace my noisy insinkerator it would be $859. I asked how long it would take and I was told 'about two hours, maybe longer.' </p> I thought that sounded like a lot of money per hour because I knew what the PVC pipes and insinkerator cost. I was told 'we get our prices out of a book,' and that the prices are standardized. They also touted their warranty as the best in town. I passed on the repair. They were on time and professional, but I called another plumber because I felt their quote was excessive. I ended up paying half as much to another company (apparently they must use a different book) including the insinkerator replacement. They offered the same warranty."

"We live in a thirty five year old house and although the house has held up very well over the years, we have recently found that in order to keep the systems running and functioning, we're having to pay companies and contractors to come and update systems and do repairs. That particular piping in the bathroom that Premier worked in was probably the original piping and it was a real mess for them to try and work with. They did a very nice job and worked on it all until it was completely corrected, which pleased us greatly. When your plumbing goes out, you can not waste time. You need someone to come out right away because you need your water and toilets working correctly. Premier accomplished that task successfully for us so we really would have nothing negative to say about them."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Conway, AR

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
