"We called Dalcon Electric when a car struck a power line outside of our building and knocked out the electricity to our building. They were quick to respond in an emergency, courteous and professional. They helped us get our business back on track in a pinch. Then, we hired Dalcon to replace all 53 outdated outlets in our building. Dave and his crew (Jack and Billy) completed this efficiently and with minimal disruption to our business. When we needed to install emergency exit signs, Dalcon provided by far, the best quote for the work to be done compared to many other handymen we had considered. Jack and Billy installed our emergency signs and cleaned up the area where they had worked leaving it just as, if not better than, how they found it. Everyone at Dalcon is courteous, prompt and responsive. Dave, the owner, came in person to our office to discuss each project to be done. Scheduling these projects was a breeze, Sarah and Suzanne in the office were very responsive and made sure our concerns were addressed. Hi my name is Trevor Smith and I am a California state certified Electrician. I have over 15 years experience in Residential, Commercial and Industrial electrical work. I have been trained by the union and I am a member of IBEW in good standing and am looking to help you with all your electrical needs: Troubleshooting fans, cans, spas, grow rooms etc no job to small. "Beware, Trevor is extremely incompetent and a complete rip off. All we needed was a simple 240 panel swap First he gave us a price to start in 3 days and a price to start in 5 days for 6k more. This was on a formal written quotation. We chose 3 days because it was an emergency. He ended up ordering the wrong panel and by the time the replacement was delivered, we were at 7 days. He still charged us the additional 6k. Next, the 2nd panel had a connections approximately 12" further than the original panel. Without quoting or even indicating that we would have to pay for this he replaced a few feet of 100 amp wire and added $4200 to the invoice! The best one is the $1500 he added to "determine which phase the stinger leg was was supposed to be on." He checked alright by process of elimination. He guessed wrong and caught my office on fire! What kind of person has the nerve to charge for that after setting your building on fire. We ended up withholding payment on the last 2 charges to get clarity from him about their legitimacy. He showed up at our business very hostile and started screaming about giving him his money and what he would do if I didn't. He had already been paid the 19k on the original estimate. He would not listen to anything or leave and ultimately I had to threaten to call the cops to get him out of there. This guy is a scam artist and a safety hazard. Save your wallet and your building and hire someone else."
