"Was able to advise me about getting a sewer clean out installed and what was causing the problem with backed up pipes. No repair was needed. This company is really honest and I will be using them again if I have a plumbing issue. Kyle was supper nice. Very helpful."

"The technician, Bob advised us on the phone to have the water shut off by the city until he could arrive. Bob showed up within 3 hours of our call and was able to isolate and cap off the affected underground pipe as a temporary fix, as he had several other service calls to tend to. We scheduled him to return 2 days later to re-connect the affected underground pipe as well as replace the valve unit that was ruptured. He was efficient and quick."

"Great job.  We are now confident that we don't need a new shower pan ($3500), just a new shower door ($1000).  The approximately $250 cost seemed a little scary at first, but after we saw everything he did, it was well worth it!  He was on the job for about an hour and a half. <br />"

"The telling point for this provider is his honesty. I had a 2002 Saturn that he worked on several times recently, I was debating trading the car because of the expense of continuing problems. Asked Rusty for his opinion on trading or keep fixing and he said trade the overall costs would be cheaper. Of course that meant less money for him. Honesty is this day and age are worth a lot."

"The company was recommended by a flooring company that I trust. I called them one morning and, after I had initially scheduled their first available appointment for a day or two later, the plumber (Scott) was able to come by later the same day. The plumber evaluated the work, discussed cost-performance tradeoffs for the leaking valves and sink drain accessories, purchased the parts, and installed them and connected the sink and faucet. The work was completed in about 2 hours (including the time taken to buy parts). The system so far has been problem-free. The plumber worked very efficiently and was always helpful and courteous. He also was happy to take a few minutes (at no charge) to explain to me how to take care of some minor plumbing connection and repair issues on my own, as well as to give rough estimates for some larger plumbing work I was considering. <br /> The charge was on a time-and-materials basis, at $85/hr for labor. I don’t know if this is a typical labor rate, so I didn’t provide a rating for price. <br />"

"I have used them for rentals for many years, and had very good luck, the were really good plumbers and reasonable. <br /> Then the business was sold about 10 years ago and their rates became extremely high and I stopped using them. This year I tried them again for two repairs. The first was for a rental and they did a shower repair another plumber had done a year ago, and they repaired it at about half the price. Recently I had them do some other work in a warehouse and it was fast, professional and more than reasonable, actually  cheaper than I thought it would be. <br /> I would give them a five star rating, except as others have written, a woman that works there, owners wife? isn;t helpful at all, and you should make sure you call early in the mornig and get the regular dispatcher.  She seems to have a problem listening and I wouldn't place any work orders with her whatsoever.  Make sure you place you orders with someone else, or you might give it a 1 star rating."

FAQs for gas piping projects in Cottonwood, CA

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
