"Excellent attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship. Charlie designed built in cabinets with new windows for both sides of our fireplace and after the initial design completed, we decided to try to get our TV mounted above the stone fireplace even though it was not initially agreed upon. Not an easy endeavor (20 foot natural stone fireplace--stone from floor to ceiling---not wired for it initially) but Charlie did not pressure us to rush through it. He spoke with masons, our builder, electrician, etc but ultimately designed a beautiful mantle to hide all of the wires so the TV blended in perfectly with minimal destruction Ken spent a week installing the unit, making detailed measurements for the TV and doing the finish work. His attention to detail was phenomenal. In full disclosure that I only gave the price a B because we did get 2 other quotes that were cheaper----but with that being said we did not feel comfortable trusting the scope of this project to anyone else but Charlie after speaking with him. It was a patient, well designed, well run, top notch job---well worth the cost"

"prPaul returned my call promptly and worked around my busy schedule to set up an appointment quickly - timing was critical, as I had a houseful of guests arriving for a Labor Day weekend party. I was amazed at how much he accomplished, in a very short amount of time! Paul was extremely detail-oriented in his approach to the repairs and had all of the odd bits and pieces needed to do all of the work on the spot in his truck - no need to run out to the hardware store or make a return visit, as I'd experienced with other handyman services in the past. <br /> But the most surprising part of the experience was what Paul didn't do - talk me into doing useless repairs. I had originally contacted him about replacing a number of missing tiles on my entryway floor. After careful inspection, Paul determined that difficult-to-detect problems with the old subfloor would not permit anything but very temporary repairs to the area and that a permanent fix would cost $$$$. Because I was working with a very tight budget, he suggested that I use an inexpensive area rug to cover the problem. He also gave me advice on how to fix a few other things that I could easily do myself, again saving me money. <br /> My house is old, and has needed a lot of work over the past 5 years. In my experience, it is rare to find skilled professionals who deliver on what they promise. This service was the rare exception! <br />"
