"It went perfectly. I called and spoke to the office immediately. They came out the next day on a Sunday prepared to give an estimate and complete the job. Everything is done. They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."

"They had a great show room where I could go and look at everything and compare the windows at their prices. They were very knowledgeable about their products and I loved it when they came out when they said they would. They took all the windows all at once and put all the windows back in again. There was no overnight waiting and they did a beautiful job."

"I went to Angie's List online and contacted a couple of people who had high ratings to give me a quote via phone for the specific fencing I was needing. Mauricio, the owner, was extremely responsive and got back in touch with me the same day, gave me an accurate quote and we scheduled a time for him to come meet me at my home to further the discuss the project since he was, indeed, in my price range. He was here on time for our initial meet up and very detail oriented and took the time to listen to exactly what I was wanting with my new cedar fencing. Then, we scheduled the fence install for only about 1 week out and him and his team arrive on time, ready to go and had the fence completed within a half a day. The fence is straight as an arrow and looks fantastic! Exactly what I wanted it to look like and I'm so glad that I hired them to work for me. Professional, reasonably priced and perfectionists definitely sticking to their slogan of and quot;DONE RIGHT, DONE ONE TIME!and quot;! Thank you for making this project happen so successfully in such a short time and doing such a wonderful job. I appreciate your work ethic! I recommend this company to anyone looking for fencing or anything else they do as you can see a list of all of their talents on their web site. I plan to use them in the very near future possibly for hardwood flooring and maybe even a laundry room make over! They are general contractors and do just about EVERYTHING. I'm glad because they do excellent work! HIRED! Kyla Hamilton <br />"

"Our 90 year old house needed lighting added to the detached garage, additional backyard security lighting and wiring for post lights and outlets to a deck we were having built. The team at Corrigan Electric worked closely with us and our deck contractors (St Matthews Fence and Deck - also excellent) to coordinate the installation. The job required trenching in the backyard, extensive work in the garage, basement and a crawlspace (yikes). All team members were professional, exceptionally efficient and open to questions or suggestions. I could always reach a knowledgeable and helpful staff member by phone whenever I had a question. The work was completed, as promised and on schedule with no disruption, confusion or problems whatsoever. My husband and I are thrilled with the end result. I highly recommend Corrigan Electric and will call them for any future electrical projects."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Cross-plains, IN

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
