He gave us a couple of options on how to fix it, which we appreciated. His strength is an ability to diagnose and figure out different ways to fix a problem. He also repaired a storm door that had been damaged. That wasn't as successful. It doesn't open and close as smoothly as we'd like and the holes for the dead bolt weren't done as professionally as expected. The only other negative was a bit of sloppiness with the caulking around the window. Overall, we'd hire Louis again. He's competent and skilled enough to give you multiple options on how to fix a probelm."

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"

"They were late, but that was traffic.  Perhaps I should have read the fine print, but 800 sq. feet isn't a lot of wall space, and "$450 for three rooms" was indeed too good to be true.  Also the painting didn't include trim/windows/doors etc. nor did it include the paint -- and to do just two rooms and one ceiling was $900 in addition to the $450 originally planned for.  There were also some spills, some drips... not a huge issue but it would have been nice for them to acknowledge them.  I'm not bitter, not angry, just disappointed."

As for my brother in law he's much better they referred him to there in house clinician after the cleanup and he's been showing much better improvement at dealing with his depression.
