"When I bought my house, I did not realize the secondary bedrooms did not have light fixtures/ceiling fans. I recently hired Jose to install three ceiling fans in my home. I coudn't have been more pleased with the result. He carefully assessed the best locations for each fan and ensured that everything was properly installed and secure. I will definitely be reaching out for any future home improvement projects."

"For years I have wanted to update my very old and inefficient American Standard cast iron boiler. I was very fortunate to find Mr Joe Burriesci the owner of Mayjac Plumbing who took the time to evaluate the best options, since the old boiler handled two apartments. We collectively decided to go with two Navien Combi Condensing Boilers, but the best part of the entire process was how meticulous the installation was done. From start to finish Mayjac Plumbing kept every promise and timeline made. I highly recommend Mayjac Plumbing..."

This is the 2nd major project I contracted Art DeRosa & Co for.  The 1st being 4 years ago a major living room/family room renovation which was hugely successful.  That 1st experience led me to award Art (after several other competitive quotes) this 2nd and far larger & more complex project.

Overall it went well but this was a complicated project encompassing all the typical trades and expertise of building a new luxury house but far more complicated because it was a renovation performed while we were living in the home. Dust partition walls with wood framing had to be erected in several locations in the house which included temporary doors for entering and egress in certain areas of the remaining living areas of the house in order to protect the remaining house from dust and demolition , as well as, provide privacy for us during construction.

Experience, Experience, Experience and Professionalism, Professionalism, Professionalism are the hallmarks of Art DeRosa and company.  He is a seasoned performer and pretty much seen it all.  Art has such a vast amount of home construction experience in both hi-end and medium end homes that he can draw upon a wealth of knowledge in all construction disciplines to implement a fine finished result.  As a former tool and die maker his penchant for hi-precision finish work yields highest quality appearances to things like moldings; trim; windows; doors; floors; etc. etc.

This complex renovation project lasted 7 months which was within the initial time estimate given at the beginning and Art DeRosa and team were here every single day, day in and day out,  bright and early during that time frame. He did not start any other projects and stayed on the job day-in and day-out even when other sub-contractors such as plumbers and electricians were on the job site excluding his people from doing any other work. Art DeRosa and team were here every single day until final signoff.

I would not hesitate to recommend Art DeRosa & Co for any planned New House and/or House Renovation of any kind.

"Overall five stars. 3 Stars for incompetent job supervisor. Owner Dan Bolger was great, a tad pushy. Runs a well oiled machine utilizing an excellent skill set. However, outright refused to install Schluter Ditra beneath Tile floors, Now I've got squeaks, no cracking yet. Entire crew (except supervisor) were exceptional. Challenging 1950's home with Challenging 1950's Homeowners. We waited a long time to review. Never review anything new as only time will tell ;-) Island Homecraft was a great hire for us."

"Great job. I had a water leak in my kitchen ceiling that needed to be covered and Ed did a great job. He came Christmas Eve morning to complete the work on less than 24 hours notice!"

"I was very pleased to receive a detailed proposal with photos, in a timely manner,  and a fair price.  Once work began, the crews arrived on time, they were friendly, wore booties, and the area they were working on was sealed off to protect the rest of the room; I appreciated the fact that they were so conscious about not making a mess or tracing debris through the house.  The work was completed on time and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done.

"PERFECTLY! What an easy experience Gandolfo Contracting made this. I am so thrilled EVERY time I walk I to my kitchen. I purchased this service as a BIG DEAL on Angie's list and it was done within a few days. It could not have been easier. Using Angie's list to send messages back and forth was perfect for me! I did speak with Anthony the owner and he was polite and easy to speak to. I picked out what tiles I wanted and sent him the SKU and he picked it all up on the way to my house. They worked with me on my times as only afternoon is available for me to have work done. They arrive on time started right away was finished in a couple of hours and even went beyond and did a few extra touches for me that I had asked about. I will use them again in fact spoke to them before they left about other work I wish to have done. They were easy to deal with and very neat all was clean when they left. I am very happy I did this and happier that I chose Gandolfo construction. It is easy to see why they have an "A" rating!"

"Smart Tile was quick to respond to my request to have my granite counter tops cleaned & sealed. We setup a date and time to have the work done. I was called earlier in the day to confirm our appointment. Lorenzo was on time and started working immediately after he took a look at what was needed to be done. He was very courteous, friendly and paid close attention to detail. Lorenzo protected the floors with mats to ensure that the cleaner and sealer would not drip onto the kitchen floor. After he was done, my counter tops looked the same as the day they were installed. He also answered any questions that I had regarding the continued maintenance for my granite counter tops. Lorenzo was professional at all times and I could tell by the way that he worked he is an experienced craftsman. I would definitely use Smart Tile for any granite/tile work that I may need in the future."

"AJ and his entire Babylon Bay Construction team are absolutely amazing at what they do. This is the third project we’ve worked him on, and once again everything went exactly according to the schedule. He said we’d be ready to template in three weeks, and we were. Once the counter came in, he had his trades descend upon our house – contractor, electrician, plumber – all together on the same day to make sure everything was coordinated and tied up on schedule. He takes the time to provide really detailed estimates – so much so that there was never any surprise along the way. In terms of his team, they’re the best in the business. Our existing porcelain floor was ripped up and replaced – and the installation of that floor was led by Carlos who asked us questions about things we didn’t know existed. Which way do we want the veins? Who knew floors had veins! Well, Carlos, of course. And in terms of the carpentry, if you’re lucky enough to have Eddie calling the shots then you’re in the hands of a true craftsman. From installing hardware to cutting molding, to figuring out uneven walls, Eddie has the skill and the plan. And he’s not alone, Sam, Marvin, Daniel, Ernesto, Nelson, it’s an endless bench of superstars. Construction projects are never easy, but AJ is always honest and upfront about the budget, timing, and scope of work. More importantly, even though we expanded the project along the way, he made sure we were eating home cooked meals in just six weeks. We’ll definitely use Babylon Bay Construction again."

"Very high quality work, everything is on time, I highly recommend it, I will use your terms in the future."
