"Prospect Hardwood Flooring including Mike and Polly were very responsive and helpful at the beginning of our project. The installation team was very patient with us while we chose our floor color and helped with mixing stains to create exactly what we were looking for. The crew was punctual and very professional throughout out the process and we are overall very pleased with the new floors. Our disappointment began with the moving of the furniture and ended with the lack of concern and followup once the project was completed. Mike let us know that they would move the furniture out and back in for an additional fee. I do not believe the team was trained to move furniture correctly. We had two pieces damaged and we also ended up moving about a quarter of the furniture back in ourselves as the timing Jodi (who took over for Polly) offered did not work with our schedules and we did not want to wait another full week to get the furniture back in. When Mike came out about a few concerns we had with the final flooring we do not feel he listened and took the time to understand our concerns. He felt our concerns would be easily addressed and had the team come back out to do the touch ups but there was no communication between Mike, Jodi and the team as they did not understand what needed to be done when they got here or have the right product on the truck to do the work. It did get done later that day but not without a lot of frustration. We expressed our disappointment regarding the damaged furniture, the confusion about the touch ups and that we ended up having to move the last of the furniture back ourselves. The communications after that from Jodi were defensive and somewhat evasive and we never heard anything further from Mike although he was copied on all communications. The lack of concern and follow up for our complaints, after the project was completed, from both Jodi and Mike is the only reason that we would not use PHF again."

"Extremely well informed and prepared, the team came in on both jobs and performed the tasks very efficiently. We could not have been happier with the results of each job. The hardwood floors were sanded and gaps filled, floors cleaned, stained , and finally sealed. The job took about 3 days because stair treads were added, a portion of the kitchen had to have wood replaced because of prior water damage, and quarter round was stained and installed. The floors look brand new! The other home had carpet on top floor in four bedrooms and closets which was removed, floors prepared, and luxury vinyl wood-look installed all in one day! Very professional work, beautiful clean up job and disposal of all materials that were removed from floors. This is a top notch contractor who knows flooring, hardwood, and construction. He has excellent people skills and manages the team effectively and efficiently to get the job done the best way possible. We highly recommend using this company for all flooring needs! Just can't say enough good things about the owner and workers! Polite and professional people who happen to perform superior work that can't be matched! Worth every dollar spent which by the way, was comparable to other quotes and even less than a few other contractors."

"This project was unique in that we had buckling in a particular section of our hardwood flooring. In addition, some moisture was identified under an adjacent section. We replaced the buckling section with ceramic tile “rug” and repaired the adjacent section We were extremely satisfied with Zavala flooring throughout the entire process.
