After Doug McLendon came by for the estimate he assured me that when they completed the work I would hardly notice where they dug, which I was delighted to discover was accurate. During the estimate Doug suggested that they run the water service line diagonally under my lawn, so that it entered my basement in the laundry room where all the rest of the plumbing was and not 30 feet away on the other side of the basement, Doug and his team (Rafael, Garrett and Chad) arrived at 8 am sharp and by 9:30 am the horizonal drill head penetrated the cinderblock wall behind my washing machine. Over the next few hours they tied in this service line with the rest of the house plumbing and enabled me to use my plumbing until they returned the next morning for the WSSC inspection and backfill. "I made the mistake of providing my telephone number and after I hit "enter" I received two phone calls from two different providers. This was a little too aggressive for my taste. Dun Rite called first, so I let them come out and give me an estimate. They were willing to do the work that night, but it was too late in the evening for me considering neighbors. They came the next day. Sterling knew what he was doing, but he was strictly a "drain" guy... not a plumber. He also had a trainee with him. While Sterling was very patient with the trainee, I felt that the trainee slowed him down. Ideally, I would have liked to have had someone who was a licensed plumber... not just knowledgeable in clearing drains. However, Sterling was good at what he did and was able to clear my clogged drain. He had to come back the next day, as they lost my check. Additionally, they had to return a third time, as we were left with no hot water. Sterling was professional, polite, and friendly. I would probably call again. Although, if you're not sure what the problem is... it might be better to contact a plumber."
