Quality of Work: Frankly, 75-80% of contractors fail here for three primary reasons: a horrible handoff from the product specialist to the onsite project foreman, project foreman and workers making assumptions about details vice asking the customer, and lack of quality detailed work. The foreman excelled in these areas ensuring we were on the same page for various details such as casing, caulking, and external trim. In addition, he completely replaced the rotted wood structure above and along the sides of the door and added customer-provided insulation where there were gaps. To keep the project on track, they brought in another expert worker and management arrived to ensure the quality of work was high. The end product was beautiful. Pricing: Price was the best of three highly ranked Angie’s List companies. Zen Windows’ expertise, willingness to explain the details of the project, timely communication, and excellent work took the hassle out of this project."

"Thomas M was an excellent technician and did great work fixing all the basement windows around the house. These windows are difficult to find a replacement but he was able to repair and repaint them. The other technician was Pablo He worked on caulking all the windows around the house and he did some filling work on the garage sliding doors You did a good job, but Pablo left his trash around and didn’t pick up after himself so Thomas M and I did that on the third day. It took three days total, but it was two men for two days and one man for a 3/4 of a day actually. Although I’ll probably get charged for a full day, since it went past noon. The labor portion is the most expensive and a little higher than I initially anticipated. So, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround, but overall quality work was completed. I would highly recommend Thomas M as a technician to do future work. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. I would hire again but include more details in the contract language."
