"We sequentially hired two different handyfolk to fix our leaking washing machine. The second person successfully diagnosed that it was not a problem with the washing machine, but a clogged drain line. We evaluated several plumbers via Angi.com. Based on reviews we went with Jay, the owner of Precise Plumbing. Boy were we satisfied. The drain line was tied into a primary drain line, which was OK by code, but miserable in practice, as there is no way to snake it. Jay was able to figure out an efficient and elegant solution based on his years of experience. We now have a barely visible trap in our garage wall. All this was diagnosed and completed the same day the second handyperson came out. My wife is overjoyed with the washing machine functioning after several weeks of more and more frequent floods. This quickly leads me to being overjoyed. One extremely nice thing is that Jay warrantys his work and that is pretty wonderful. Thanks Jay"

When he snaked the sewer line, he also took the the time to put a camera down the pipe and show me the tree roots that were the issue. He gave me a few options for a short term & long term solution. In addition to this he snaked my kids upstairs bathroom sink that had been clogged. Good attention to detail and someone I would definitely hire anytime you need plumbing help."

"The plumber came almost at the end of the appointed time. When he arrived, he was fairly arrogant, and refused to negotiate despite coming from Angie's list. Lastly, he repaired the leaky line in about an hour, charging $530, and also did not provide the water plastic box for water line. We had to purchase one from another store. When I paid for the invoice, they didn't tell me that they are charging additional 3% with credit card. All in all, they did the work, but at a high price, and so so customer service."
