"Replaced tile and carpeted floors with Somerset Engineered white oak hardwood flooring. Finish was gunstock. I also had the tiling removed in our main bathroom and replaced. They completely redid the shower and the flooring. Overall, I highly recommend Functional Floors. On the flooring project, I had about 700 sq. Ft. Of flooring replaced. The project took about 2 weeks to complete. The worst part was the tear out of the ceramic kitchen floor. The installer, Matt, sealed off the area to eliminate the dust the best he could. No matter what you do, you’re still going to get dust. I am a retired engineer and do woodworking as a hobby. I’m a fussy person and not easy to satisfy. I usually do most projects my self. The few times I contracted a project out, I was disappointed with most. So I was concerned about this one. I have to tell you that Matt was every bit as meticulous as me. He did a great job. He always kept me informed about how it was going and talked to me about any concerns. He constantly cleaned up after himself. Again, I have no regrets about Function Floors, they would be my first choice for future flooring needs and would highly recommend to others. The second project was removing the floor and shower tiling in our main bathroom and installing new tiling. Approximately 120 sq. ft. Jerry was the installer for this project. The project took 5 days to complete. Jerry was good to work with too. He did a very nice job installing the new tile. It looks great, just like we wanted it. We still have painting and other work to do to finish the project. So Functional Floors scored 2 for 2 with an A rating."

He is a perfectionist, and gifted person with the ability to fix any bad flooring issues. Ken installed all new vinyl flooring throughout my home. He always kept things cleaned up as he went along. Ken had a young man named Anthony that was just as kind and that was respectful to my furniture and property. Both men were prompt, respectful and trustworthy. "Workers were here 'sort of' on time. Job took a day or two longer than expected. New shower looks great. Shower floor is an issue. The floor is not solid, and takes some getting used to. Overall, we are happy with the new shower, but the floor needs to be addressed along with a chip in the floor ceramic tile, caused by workers."
