"Dimitri and his crew did an incredible job with our house. This was a big job, but it went more smoothly than I could have imagined. Dimitri showed up when he said he would, the work was outstanding, and the project was completed earlier than expected despite cold weather delays! Because of the work that was being done, we had to move out of the house for a few months. Dimitri made sure we could move in again as soon as possible. Dimitri also made some great recommendations about how we should do certain things in the house. Turns out all the ideas he had were good ones!  <br /> We have returned to Dimitri's Home Improvement many times since this initial project, and we have recommended them to our friends, family and neighbors. <br /> <br />"

"“I strongly recommend JW Home Improvement for all home repair and renovation needs. Over the past few weeks we have had various projects completed, including, exhaust fan installation, stairwell repair, dry wall repair, exterior dormer and trim replacement and gutter/downspout painting. All of the technicians were friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, respectful, highly skilled and operated efficiently to finish ahead of scheduled time. Pedro, Kevin and Antonio in particular were exceptional in going above and beyond to produce truly beautiful work. The craftsmanship and precision displayed by these technicians was extraordinary and they were an absolute pleasure to have in my home.”"

"Guillermo, the owner of D&V Remodeling, has been absolutely fantastic to work with. I hired him to do few diverse projects and he was very knowledgeable, efficient and performed superb quality work. Itâ  s not every day that you meet a contractor that has your best interest in mind, is honest, trustworthy and just genuinely a nice person that wants to do his best for his customer and does it so well. I value attention to details and I was truly impressed with his work. Guillermo was very communicative in keeping me up to date on scheduling and then before the projects started, during and after. Overall, it was absolutely a pleasure to have him work on my projects. Even though I was not available to monitor every aspect of the projects, he delivered superbly high quality of work. I also appreciated his flexibility to get me on his schedule. I will DEFINITELY hire him again!"

"Fixing horrible construction work on a 5yrs old bd from ''develoer' AX Builders. Tye fronf panel were built without sealant around windows and without screws. The warping panels caused water intrusion into the house when it rains. Gomez Construction crew were knowledgeable, accountable, accommodating to work with during the week long project."

"John Mycek and his team took on a series of upgrades to lighting, ventilation, ceilings and access in our dining area, kitchen, laundry and furnace rooms, as well as patching outdated/unnecessary openings in our attic and gable end. Even with a big winter storm delaying everything in the region, they were able to knock out the work in roughly two weeks. The price was quite fair, and we received suggestions from the team that helped modify our original plan into something more realistic and workable. All of the little renovations are making a big difference in the "working" spaces of our home. Would definitely hire this company again!"

"The work that was done was excellent; but it was tricky getting them to let me know what time they'd be at my home. The message I got was that they'd be there between noon and 1:00. I got a call after 1:00 saying that they'd be at the house between 2:00 and 2:30. When you take off time to be at home it's "not cool" if they don't come when they say they will."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Dayton, MD

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
