"Our house is 63 years old and had the original aluminum windows from 1956. After several bids we decided to go with Marty and Guardian Windows. The quality of the window compared to other companies seemed to be better. The installation crew (Fernando, Matt, Jim and Darrell) showed up on a Thursday, two and a half days later they had replaced our 25 windows. These guys were very professional and hard working individuals. Every rough opening provided a challenge for trimming out based on the age of the home plus the difference in the window width of the old windows versus the new. It was amazing the job they did and how "new" it makes our home look. We've had many compliments so far. I noticed one small blemish in a pane plus they actually found a "small" scatch in another but Fernando immediately contacted the window manufacturer and replacements will arrive with a few weeks. "Exceeded my expectations. On initial visit: sketched elevation & did measurements; reviewed options with me; and carefully selected color to match existing trim. Prompt, professional and thorough. Tony Lux emailed me an estimate based on the measurements. I had a little extra footage that exceeded the $499 Angie's List offer. A few days letter, the 2 man install crew arrived and promptly went to work. They finished quickly and left no mess behind. I called Tony to settle my account ($39) and he told me to be sure and check the gutters for leaks or other issues. If I found any problems, they would come back and fix as part of the initial service. I highly recommend this company and look forward to contacting them again for future reno needs."

Three (3) man painting crew, supervised by Alex, spent three full days on property during some of the hottest temperatures of the year.  Alex, and each of his helpers, arrived first thing Monday morning and went to work washing the surfaces to be painted.  Thirteen years of dirt and grim were washed away to ensure the new paint would properly adhere.  Painting commenced Monday afternoon with the south side of the house completed before the crew left for the day.  Alex and his crew were back at 7:30 AM Tuesday morning.  The east, north, and west side of the house were painted on Tuesday.  Wednesday was spent applying a second coat of paint to ensure complete coverage.  All door handles and locks were taped to keep the paint off and many windows were covered with plastic to ensure no overspray.  All tape and paper was removed upon completion of the work and all trash was picked-up at the end of each day. The completed work confirmed Alex was a professional at his job.  The exterior of the house has never looked better.  I would not hesitate to call Silver Oaks Residential Services for other repair/improvement work I have planned for the future.

"I consulted with Rob to remove some trees and to discuss placing a root barrier at the front of my home.  I have had some cracking inside the house and had been advised to install a root barrier for some oak trees in the front yard.  Rob gave me an estimate for the oak trees but on examining the house and yard said that the trees were quite small to be causing that damage, as well as that the damage was not located where it would be expected if due to the trees.  He placed a call to consult with a local foundation expert including video of the trees and the cracked expansion joint on the side of my house.  At the same time while he was examining the property he recognized that right next to where the foundation damage is occurring, there is a part of the yard that is chronically waterlogged.  Once he pointed it out it was clear that this is the source of the foundation damage, particularly since we've had severe droughts in the last several years but this part of the lawn is usually very wet.  Rob also spoke with the adjacent neighbor on that side about drainage issues in his lawn, as some of the water is coming from the neighbor's irrigation.  The drainage system he installed cost 600$, whereas the root barrier would have been $3,000 and wouldn't have fixed the problem.  So I really feel that Rob's honesty, experience, and thorough evaluation of our problem saved us a ton of money, corrected an issue with the lawn we've had since moving in, and rescued our foundation. 
   The tree removal was great.  All of the work was done in about seven hours, and there was no clutter or mess left.  I will definitely be a repeat customer for landscaping needs in the future."
