He was very honest and said there was no build up and a cleaning was not needed. I was appreciative of not charging me for unneeded services. Consequently, the fee was less than quoted. "I was satisfied with every aspect of our crawl space encapsulation process. Doug Harkey came out and provided a very detailed estimate, including a detailed sketch of my crawl space and pictures of problem areas. His estimate was reasonable and provided several options in different price ranges to accommodate us financially. I especially liked the videos he included so we would know exactly what to expect during the encapsulation. Prior to the job commencing, their electrician came out to install a new circuit for our new dehumidifier. His work was done quickly and efficiently, and the new circuit was run with no damage to our drywall. Another crew also came one morning to replace our crawl space access doors with insulated doors. All work was very timely and professional. When Jesse Marshall and his crew showed up on the week of the encapsulation, they arrived early as scheduled and stayed on the job all day each day until the job was completed. Jesse and his crew were very professional and friendly and set to work quickly removing all of our old insulation and vapor barrier and sprayed all wood surfaces with mold inhibitor. They clearly communicated what they would accomplish each day and they made steady progress until the job was completed. The new vapor barrier and rigid insulation was professionally installed and permanently fastened to my foundation wall and all seams were neatly taped. As an engineer, I crawled under the house at the end of the job, and I found nothing wrong with the installation. We got exactly what we paid for. The AprilAire dehumidifier was much quieter than I thought it would be and I'm pleased with its installation and performance. Makes about as much noise as our refrigerator. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with our decision to hire Stable Foundations. I would definitely hire them again if needed."

"I had a 50-year-old house with a cinderblock basement wall that had water slowly coming through. I researched the various firms that did waterproofing and had three highly rated firms come out for an estimate. The first contractor didn’t even bring a flashlight and just looked around and said to keep an eye on it. The second gentlemen did provide detailed estimate and carefully explained the problem. Randy, the owner, from Chamberlin Washington provided a similar diagnosis and estimate. His estimate was not only a little less expensive but he looked at the entire house and found other things that could use some maintenance. This is what I liked about Randy – he looked at the whole house and discovered several smaller things that should be fixed to avoid issues down the road. These were all things I knew about already but I’m glad someone took the time to examine the entire house and not just the one issue I was having. We had then not only waterproof the outside wall but also fill the expansion joints in our patio and seal one basement window as well as re-point some mortar joints in the brink chimney. When the crew came they went to work. They also did an admirable job protecting our plants. An old section of of a 6' high stockade fence had to be removed and I bough a new section and the crew was happy to put that up. When they water tested the wall they found a small leak. They re-did the sealant and that did the trick. Randy came out and supervised critical parts of the job. He was great to work with and happily fixed a few small things at the end. Randy really cares about doing the job right. I am 100% pleased with the work they did. I watched over much of the repair and everything was done correct and by the book. Overall I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Chamberlin-Washington and their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone."

"We received recommendations from several friends, neighbors, and our insurance agent when selecting which companies we wanted to have bid our new roof. Ultimately, we decided on Thomas Roofing who thoroughly explained the scope of work without sounding sales-pitchy and offered a fair price. The day of the job, their crew showed up on time (maybe even a few minutes early!) and completed the work in one day. They carefully cleaned up after themselves, even taking the time to search for nails with a magnetic roller. As a result, we’ve only found a handful of nails in our yard (I believe it’s inevitable to find a few). The dumpster was removed from our driveway first thing the following morning (a Saturday) and we received the invoice in the mail a couple of weeks following job completion. We’re very happy with the quality of work. The only reason I gave a “B” on responsiveness, was we had asked for a few days notice once they knew what date they planned to do the work. This would allow us to make arrangements for our three dogs to go to doggy daycare, knowing the noise involved with tearing off and replacing the roof would drive them bonkers. We ended up receiving notice of a last minute opening at 4pm the day before Thomas Roofing planned to come, which didn’t give us time to make reservations for daycare. That said, it had been a very rainy month which disrupted Thomas’ schedule and they knew we wanted the work done ahead of family coming in for Thanksgiving, so we ultimately just appreciated them working to fit us in and our dogs eventually forgave us!"
