The work involved a significent challenge in lifting and decking under an existing outdoor kitchen. York River Outdoors did an excellant job. Their craftsmanship was better than most other contractors and their work ethic was outstanding. They maintained excellant communication and completed the job in a fast and efficient manner. "Everything was done very well; removal of old sunroom materials, installation of new wall and roof over additional roof area. All wood work was very well done, installation of new glass and new structural roof! All done well. Exception was the new roof! Here the interfacing of new roof with existing roof was not done well. All the construction was completed at end - literally in last week of 2015; all seemed well for first winter of 2016, then in spring of 2016 the roof began leaking at or near the interface of new with the existing roof. I called Mr. Bart Scesney, the Senior Design Consultant , overseeing the project and reported the leak. He promised a fix. Then through the summer of 2016 the leak seemed to resolve itself but with return of winter the roof leaked through the winter of 2016 -2017. I called Mr. Scesney again and again received a promise of a repair; nothing happened. Again in winter of 2017-2018 leaks occurred, again I called with the same null response. Finally in the fall of 2018 I sent an email to Mr. Scesney with a copy to the President of TRS, Mr. Joe Henley. Again a promise of a repair but no response. Thus, this complaint to Angie's list and the same to the Better Business Bureau. Next will be a formal legal proceeding to sue the company for the cost of an urgent repair. Really hate to take this action because all other aspects of the work was so well done. But I must stop the leak; I have a cathedral ceiling and as a result a leak comes directly into my home."

"We got a quote very quickly. Asked for 40 petcent down Started the the following week. They were done in 3 days with a 26 x 12 ft deck, 15 feet off the ground. It looks great and we are so happy. We will definitely have them back to do other projects that we need around the house. The crew was very friendly and efficient."

"The problem I faced when it came time to replace the old heart pine wood siding on my home was how to retain the old handmade looks while making reducing maintenance, enhancing energy efficiency and, if possible,  improving the looks of this old Tudor style building I have called  home for over 30 years.
With Mark Hooper's help the solution was found by using stucco Hardie panels and hundred year old chestnut cut from an old log cabin for the trim. Joining the trim required great skill as well as patience as each piece of trim had to be hand selected and then  fitted and refitted before screws into place. 
The results far surpass my expectation. Mark Hooper's combination of  skill, insistence on quality, and attention to detail is rare and superior.
Throughout the process Mark was flexible to changes, professional, and courteous. The icing on the cake is that his final invoice was actually under budget!
