The price was so reasonable compared to one other quote we received that we decided to also replace the flooring, vanity and wall mirror. We thought we'd need to replace our shower door, too; but Phil was able to fix rather than replace it, saving us considerable money. "DJ Custom Cabinets (Don Dockery, owner) is a wonderful company to use for custom cabinet work. Last year we thought replacing the kitchen countertops and painting the walls would make our kitchen look more modern. After the work was completed, we realized that we should have replaced the kitchen cabinets as well. We had several contractors look at the cabinets and give us their opinion. We determined that DJ Custom Cabinets was the right team for the job. It was absolutely the right decision! Don has been in this line of business for over 45 years and felt 99% confident that he could put in new kitchen cabinets without removing the new countertops. He built a complex set of braces to hold up the countertops and was successful at removing the lower cabinets without any damage to the new countertops. He then slid the new lower cabinets under the braced countertops with no damage to the countertops. He replaced all the other cabinets as well. It was amazing to watch him do this. The cabinets are beautiful. His work is absolutely the best. Don and his team are great with communication and very respectful. We never had a call that wasn’t answered or returned quickly. He kept us informed throughout the process. The process was explained thoroughly. Timeline for work completion was right on. We highly recommend DJ Custom Cabinets for any custom cabinet work. "It went very well, from the first visit to the end. <br /> My first appointment was on a Tuesday at 3 PM and they showed up on time. Their representative listened to us when we went through the issues in our  bathroom. It was out of date and needed a face lift. We wanted new tile on the floor and in the shower. We needed new glass for the shower, a new toilet and a new set of double sinks with a new cabinet. The fan also needed replacing and we also wanted to paint the untiled portion of the walls and ceiling. Generally we wanted a new bathroom. <br /> G.H. took measurements and got back with us a few days later. We got all our wish list at a very fair price, with good terms. <br /> The workmen showed, again on time, and started the project. about a week later. We got to pick out our tile, paint color, sink and hardware. It was very exciting and although GH does this all the time, we don't and GH was very patient with us and answered all our many questions, of which there were many during the project. <br /> The entire project took the better part of four days and the guys showed up every day and when they had to leave early, to allow the tile to set up, they explained to us why they were leaving and when they were coming back. Through out the process the job was checked on by our representative. We had no surprises. <br /> We got our new bathroom and I would highly recommend G.H. They repaired drywall in two areas of my home - one where my child pushed on a toilet paper holder and another near the bathtub that looked like it might have black mold. The technician was very professional, took the time to explain everything he was doing, and even gave helpful suggestions to prevent issues like this in the future. He treated the affected area, patched everything up, and retextured the walls so it all looks good as new - you honestly can’t tell there was ever any damage. "They were great!! Always showed up at the time they said they would. On site a full 8 hours each day and working all that time. Did a very professional job on everything in my master bath they installed premium vinyl laminate; removed my old tub and installed a new tub, fixtures and bugger/better backsplash; repaired my shower door so it closes correctly (we thought weâ d have to replace it but they saved us the $$ on that); removed my old vanity and installed my new one with new fixtures; removed my old giant wall mirror, patched the wall, and put up my new decorator mirrors. In my hall bath they removed and replaced the tub and completely tiled the surrounding area. We could not be happier with their work; and the price was very reasonable compared to the 2 other contractors we interviewed."
