"It was amazingly easy, and simple. They showed up on time to give estimate, put it in writing and was able to work with me around scheduling time to get work done. They showed up on time to do the work, cleaned up everything g and carted away all the clay! Everyone in my neighborhood admired the work!"

"At the show, we told him we were on Angie's List and while there, I checked their reviews which for the most part were all A's. Unfortunately, we decided within the 3 days allowed by law to place a cancellation on our order and placed a phone call to Forrest and left a voicemail to let him know ahead of time to cancel our appt. for Thursday and we would be sending the signed cancellation notice/paperwork to their Indian Trail address. We sent the paperwork on Wednesday, 3/4 by receipted mail using our local UPS Store to do it. We received confirmation of the delivery.
I just want to say the cancellation was not at any fault at all of the company. We really liked them and want to use them in the future. We just decided it was the wrong time for us to be doing this and we wanted to do it right when we would have additional funds to do some of the design work Forrest would suggest for us.
We haven not yet spoke to or heard back from the company about our $1000 deposit that we put on our credit card. I am sure we will be receiving it shortly. We will place a call to Forrest/Fun Outdoor Living this week to find out how and when we will be receiving our deposit.

3/26//14 - It has been 1 day short of 3 weeks since Fun Outdoor Living received the Notice of Cancellation signed and delivered to their Indian Trail office. This was their opportunity to shine and show great Customer Service by calling us and giving us an update on when we would get the refund. Disappointedly so, I have not heard from them nor received the $1,000 refund.

By law, they are required to return within three business days following the receipt of the cancellation notice, any deposit placed by the consumer. I placed my first phone call to their office today 3/26/14 to inquire about our refund. Both John and Forrest were on others calls or in other appointments at the time I called. The young lady answering the phone said she would find out what is going on and let me know. There is still a chance for them to redeem themselves by promptly calling me today and providing the refund immediately. I still have faith they will stand behind their good name and be professional. I will update this with any progress today.

Update as of 3/28 - John called me back on the same day that we left msg for him. He stated that he was not sure how they missed sending up a refund. However, the assured me that they would send a check that day. We received the check 2 days later (today 3/28). Based on this I would definitely recommend them and will be going back to them when we do decide to have this work completed."

"Rockstarr Stone Masonry installed a kitchen back splash and accent wall in my master bathroom, they were very helpful from first initial and very good with communication to helping me choose my stone correction. I love the finished look! I definitely recommend Rockstarr Stone Masonry."

"Service was great. We worked with Stacey Longshore who we've worked with prior and she was fantastic. Good vision and great recommendations. The crew installed one morning while I was at work (they arrived early and timely) so we were able to enjoy our new lighting the same day - it looks great! Paying was super easy as they have a platform setup where you can pay online. I would def. recommend working with Stacey and Metro-Green Scape."

"Artisan Pools did a large pool in our backyard. The process was smooth and easy. Chip and Dave were very attentive and professional. Our pool was simple and geometric in shape, but it’s a showpiece that’s talked about by everyone that visits the house. We decided to go with a decided to go with a rectangular pool, one end having a small sunshelf with tiered stairs and the other having an L- shaped bench cutout. Artisan also installed a paver patio, palm trees, and artificial turf around the pool. We are so pleased that we went with them. One thing that probably goes unnoticed when you are building a pool (but I am very thankful for it now that I have more experience) is the quality of materials used in our construction. I have many friends that have pools so of course we compare notes. I will say that our filter/pump/lighting/etc. are all second to none. Those friends are always impressed with our equipment compared to theirs. Many have even told us that they wish they had gone with our company. We looked at 5 different pool companies and got quotes from 3. Artisan was in the middle of those quotes (all were within 10% of each other). I just say this to let you know that you may find a slightly cheaper pool, but you will also get just that…. A cheaper pool. We couldn’t be happier with both the process and the finished product we got from Artisan. We would highly recommend them to anyone."

"We had a great experience with the whole process. After we contacted one of the owners, we were send to a warehouse the next day to choose what granite we want to install, and then were told that they will install within a week. They actually finished it even faster than a week! They took old tops off, cleaned after themselves, put new ones in, double checked everything and then educated us on what can be used as cleaning agent, and how to clean. We met with both owners and always had a clear understanding of all options and the whole process. The process of installation took only half a day! I would definitely recommend this company for you next kitchen renovation!!! Dimitry and Aleksandr and their team are excellent and know their trade with lots of years of experience!"

"James pressure washed my house and detached garage. I have vinyl siding on the garage and vinyl trim on my brick home. The garage and house look great. James also removed some debris from the roof of the house. Very good job and he arrived within the timeframe that we had agreed on. This is the second time that I have used this company."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Denver, NC

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
