"I was trying to purchase a home in Fremont NH and I was still in Colorado. Lisa, at Fireside Sweeps was so kind and helpful to have the techs go to the home that very day I called and reviewed the situation. She had a list of suggested issues and the ballpark cost to repair. It was a huge situation as the current chimney needed to be replaced. That knowledge helped me to get the price of the home I purchased reduced so that I could have the needed repairs done when I arrived from Colorado and closed on the property. After arrival I contacted Fireside Sweeps again via email and Lisa set up a time for Steve the owner to come and review the job personally. He was here today and revisited the repairs needed and tonight (Saturday) I received the estimate (via email) to completely remove and repair my chimney and is trying hard to find a date and time he can fit me into the schedule before the snow flies here. Price seems really fair and I will do another review when the work is completed. Highly recommended at this point."

"The brick chimney on my 55-year-old house had missing and loose bricks, crumbling mortar, and severe staining. Also, when the house was reroofed five years ago, the roofers did not do a proper job of installing flashing against the chimney. I first contacted Dave Robinson mid-summer, and he came out to examine the project. Initially he thought he could get to it in late August but he then said it would be sometime in October. As it wasn't an emergency (I had, after all, been living with this for years), that was OK with me. Dave and his crew arrived in early October and, over two days, did a great job repairing the chimney, reinstalling the flashing properly (so that the top of the flashing was embedded in the mortar, and then sealed it all with a breathing sealer. Perhaps my only gripe was that communication was intermittent, especially by email, but he did respond and did the work he quoted for the agreed-upon price. I have attached before and after photos. I'm very happy with his work and plan to call on Dave again when I am ready to install a fireplace insert (as the interior of the chimney needs work.)"
