He took a great deal of time in explaining the problem to me, actually showed me the cost of parts necessary to repair, which was as much or more than a new stove. He did not try to push an expensive repair on me. He made thoughtful recommendations on a new stove, and even gave me a couple of hints on issues with two other major appliances. Although disappointed that my 9 year old stove could not economically be repaired, I was THOROUGHLY satisfied with this experience. "These guys are amazing! They're reasonably priced and go WAY out of their way to help! They got to us as fast as I could ever have hoped for. Read on, for the full story. Our washer broke down on a Saturday, mid-day; and we live in a tiny town an hour west of San Antonio. I couldn't even find an appliance repair in our region. Out of sheer desperation I started searching for someone in SA that I could TAKE my washer to. I got on HomeAdvisor and R&R Appliance Repair came up - actually saying that I might be 'in area.' I called the number and was greater by a lady that couldn't have been nicer and more concerned - we have kids and DEPEND on our washer! She said that if they could locate the part (we were pretty certain the water pump had gone out on our LG front load washer) they would come out immediately, even if they found it the following day which was Super Bowl Sunday. I asked for a quote and she said the technician would call me with a price for the pump and a total. He called me and gave me a great price for the pump, $80 to drive out to our house (1.5hrs from their location) and estimated $85 for labor. They couldn't locate a pump until Monday but called me at 10am Monday to let me know they had it in hand. They had a couple other jobs scheduled already but said they would be at my house between 5pm and 8pm. They arrived at 6pm and worked until 8:30 and got the machine working perfectly. The charges were exactly as quoted and it cost me under $300 to have my $1500 washer repaired! That saved me $1200 over buying a new unit. A family business - father and son team - they were incredibly friendly and polite and professional, cleaning up behind all their work. I could have asked for a better experience and I would, and WILL, recommend them to all my friends and family! Use them with total confidence!!"

"Unfortunately not good. I had to put in a service call on three different occasions for the same appliance. Once in July, then again in August and in October. Each time I had to pay the service fee of $75.00. If it was repaired properly I would not have to continually call for repairs. However I do feel that this problem falls on the company that was contracted not Choice Home Warranty!"
