"We were very pleased with the quality of work delivered on our project to repair our indoor stair railing. Over a period of two decades our cat had used the railing posts as a scratching post. We were concerned that the repair might not be esthetically pleasing without a full replacement. We were delighted that a pleasing and economical solution was delivered for this project in the promised timeframe. The assigned worker communicated well, offered options and delivered beyond our expectations."

"We contracted Mendez Services to paint the windows/trim and do several repairs on our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom brick house.

Mendez and his crew did a great job getting our weathered exterior into good shape.  Whenever they encountered a challenge outside of doing the normal painting, Mendez would contact me and we decided together if it was something I wanted fixed or not.  Whenever I decided I wanted an item fixed, Mendez assured me that his team could do the work.  He was right.  They worked h****** the scraping and painting and expertly completed the repairs and screen installation.  Even though he provides superb painting services at a fair price, Mendez?s company is more than just a painting company and we plan on using him for many other projects we have planned."

"Great!!! They never disappoint when they go out to do repairs. I will always go to Mr.Handyman for my repairs"

"Hired Calix Carpentry to repair/replace main entry stair case (to include the stringers, treads, risers, landing platform, banister and two handrails). The old staircase was extremely noisey/squeaky and the banister had become loose and no longer met building code requirements. The work begain promptly on the date promised. Carlos and his crew were great during the whole process. All the new wood was stained and sealed with the end result a very sturdy and quiet staircase that exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend Calix Carpentry!"

"I have a townhouse rental that is between tenants and needed a fair amount of sprucing up.  I called Abel and asked for a quote for exterior painting and framing and hanging an exterior back door.  He sent me a quote within a day or so.  It was not the lowest bid, but it certainly was a very fair one and my experience is the lowest bid is often the one to avoid.  Also, based on my conversation with Abel, and his reviews, I had more confidence in him.
We agreed to meet at the townhouse at 8:30am and when I arrived he and his crew were already there.  We spoke for a few minutes about the job and then they got right to work.  Abel and  I had already agreed that some of the wood had been sufficiently damaged that it should be replaced with pvc material.  However, the previous evening I had discovered another piece around a basement window that was even worse and asked if he could replace that as well, which he did despite the short notice.  When the painting was done he showed me the paint he used and left me the remainder of one can, including the label on paint type, so that I could do any touch ups if needed or buy more.  He only asked an additional $50 for replacing the additional window framing.
The door was a little more problematic.  It was the same width as the existing frame, but slightly higher so his carpenter had to adjust the header and was able to do so while still making the molding around the door frame sufficiently long.  He also installed the locks from the old door.  I have done some of my own carpentry work in the past so I am somewhat familiar with this type of work and I was very happy with Abel's carpenter.
All in all, I was very pleased and would definitely used Green Painting and Carpentry again.

"All work was done beautifully. Other than the fact that I need to paint the area, you can't tell there was ever cracks in the wall or seams. Work was performed diligently and professionally. Tarps were put down and the area was thoroughly cleans upon completion. This is my second time using their services, but for a different type of repair. Will definitely be using their services again. They do excellent work and are reasonably priced. Plus, the owners are good to work with and very accommodating."

"Excellent work in both painting and carpentry repairs. Very professional."

"Took literally months to complete repair even though it was a pre-paid deal. I had to call over and over and over."

"Excellent work. The table was repaired very quickly and returned in excellent condition. I would use Metropolitan Restoration again."

"We will have them back to do additional updating of the townhouse.  I suspect we could have had the work done for less money but the quality of the work, the relaxed customer interface and drive to finish on the agreed schedule impressed us. All of the work was done in a reasonable time and on schedule. The painting and carpentry was of a high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to a friend.
