"I was having some issues with water coming into the basement through the foundation and walls during rainy weather. Not flooding, or even shop vac-able volumes, just enough to be annoying and require mopping. Dominic and his crew were here today to install an under-floor drainage system and a new sump pump. I was dreading the demo (I have a concrete floor) and the mess involved, but these guys came prepared for everything! They used dust abatement measures to protect all my basement-stored items, and they removed and hauled all the debris away when finished with the excavation. "After almost a year of moving into our new home, we experienced our worst nightmare. It has been about a half year past the project completion and we had not had any signs of water penetration inside our home, even with quite a bit of rainfall afterwards. "The work they did was OK, if we had a small basement issue.  Unfortunately, we had a large issue.
However, there was really only one person doing 90% of the work.  The work he completed was satisfactory.  As for the other guys on the crew, they were either doing "go for" work or no work at all.  The one guy doing no work was supposedly doing "mold remediation."  He was just taking a sponge and wiping a wall.
The owner was knowledgeable, but not really hands on.  He would check on the work that the one guy did.
As I mentioned before, they didn't complete the job upon my request.

Our front steps were unevenly spaced with an almost 10" drop to the first step.  Mr. Langhorne explained how they would bring the steps into code and keep them from separating from the porch again.  His sons arrived on time and completed the job in one day as promised.  Something that was not planned for, but turned out to be unavoidable was the fact that the railing needed to be removed, as the angle was now wrong.  Not to worry a call was made to a guy who could assist with the iron work to replace the hand rail.

Caution tape was posted around the steps so no one would walk in wet concrete.  They not only cleaned up our yard but also replaced the grass divots removed before the steps were poured.  We are very satisfied with the work and will definitely use Langhorne Concrete services in the future.
