"Wow! I prefer dealing with a family owned business rather than a major company. William, returned my call within an hour and did the service on my washing machine the next day. Very informative, very detailed, checked everything on the washer. He is whirlpool certified, and charged a fee that was very reasonable. I normally do not do reviews, but this had to be done. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"The technician emptied the freezer, which was in the basement, to work on the part that needed repair. Then he neglected to put anything back into the freezer, including a turkey I had bought for Christmas and a rack of ribs. Two days after he left, I went out of town for two weeks. The turkey actually exploded and spewed its liquid all over everything, which had to be discarded. I let AHS know and they couldn't even bother to call me or follow up on this. I'm considering not renewing my contract with them because of the quality (or lack thereof) of many of the providers they send."

I was pleased with the service and honesty of the serviceman. I would absolutely call them again .Ironically I would have to call them again for a problem with my oven. I'm in the process of having the part ordered and will give a report in the next few days.
